Dear friends,
I am learning to use Google live streams where I talk with guests on YouTube while a live audience joins the chat and types in questions and comments. This week we had a far reaching discussion in this live stream video below, which I share with you here:

In it we talk about how Buddhism in the west is being controlled and distorted to emphasize things that contradict the Buddha’s teachings, such QTBLGAI2S. In the video I quote from the local BC Insight Meditation Society at http://www.bcims.org which is leading a retreat on this theme and they write: “We practice in this way both for our own benefit and for the benefit of others. Open to beginning and experienced meditators who self-identify as queer, questioning, trans, genderqueer, non-binary, bisexual, lesbian, gay, agender, intersex or two-spirit.”
What does this have to do with Buddhism?! Nothing. I have more writings on this on my website at:
https://www.brianruhe.ca/jewish-control/ . This is taking the highest spiritual teachings and bringing them down with a message that undermines both western and eastern culture. This is explained in the video. The vast majority of western Buddhists have no idea how they are being influenced by this agenda. In this video we talk about even more serious issues with the Insight Meditation Society which is an international organization based in the USA. We feel ethically compelled to warn you. I feel that they teach good meditation practices but they should take out these wrong influences. I continue to recommend traditional Theravada Buddhism which can be found in the Thai, Burmese and Sri Lanka traditions. For westerners I highly recommend the Ajahn Chah tradition at: https://forestsangha.org/
