Oh, Rainy Night

What a lovely Christmas gathering,

The food as it was served,

Loving every bit of it,

Every taste just so superb.

Plenty of lively chitchat,

Among all those who arrived,

Sharing creature comfort’s,

With who might wish to now imbibe.

Mind you we did have quite the visit,

No not from Santa,

Although it would’ve been nice,

But from the four wheeled sleigh that dropped by,

Were are the local folks from vice.

It appears they had a reason,

To check in on our lovely scene,

Though they didn’t want to share it,

So we gathered and we gleamed.

But no matter as the sentiment,

Was not rude or ill conceived,

It would just be nice,

To know if they had been deceived.

All in all it was a good night,

With a nice memory,

Or two or three,

And though no one saw Santa,

It’s the kind of place,

I know he’d like to be.

I can only imagine

Looking out over the water,

There’s never much to see,

It just seems that in being there,

Is quite enough for me.

A chance to see a seagull,

A whale or even two,

Is such endless fascination,

For me if not for you.

To cast my gaze over the water,

That has a life all of its own,

And though I don’t live in it,

I can only imagine what’s being shown.

Down below the surface,

Where there’s so much going on,

Such a mystery to the likes of me,

Without me when I’m gone.

But that is what I imagine,

An enticement to us all,

A thing that sets me to wonder,

If I’ll ever know it all.

That is what takes precedence,

Over what we’ve learned so far,

There’s always so much more to know,

When you don’t know who you are.

I might not always see you out there,

But I know that you’re around,

You have your place as I do,

And to that future we are bound.

If you’ll excuse me when I ask you,

Why must you hide within yourself,

Is it that my understanding,

Can’t handle the cards, you’ve been dealt.

But if it’s for the good of all of us,

Why not let me pick and choose,

How I might best perceive you,

Whether there’s a chance that we might lose.

No matter what becomes of us,

It’s to the future we are bound,

And with mutual respect and truth,

May it there we both be found.

Triumptrump

I do so hope this is the end of times,

And the start of something new,

Might we all see a brighter future,

Not tomorrow’s to soon rue.

If there ever was a justice,

One to be now served,

By the hand of an authority,

Thought gone but now preserved.

And ready to take their place in history,

One that’s now being written all so quick,

As there’s not much time for talking,

When you’re in the thick of it.

When all is said and done,

And we feel we can plant ourselves again,

Back down on our precious soil,

To be close friends again.

Hasn’t happened yet

How much TV have you watched today,

Have you bothered to go anywhere else,

It’s the best place to find the answers,

With what’s now so often being dealt,

Yes it takes the best cards,

To win at every hand,

But if your questions keep getting answered,

Why would there be need to understand.

That our world is quickly changing,

And we’re all being taken for a ride,

Not that we’d have much say in it,

Unless we do consciously decide.

To allow it all to happen,

Even though it’s what we face,

Because there’s someone feeding us solutions,

Just as long as we keep pace.

And not bother to slow down,

Or even take a breath,

For if you’re hell-bent on your own destruction,

Just because it hasn’t happened yet.

Halfway to the truth

I don’t think you’re here to find out,
That which is the biggest mystery to us all,
How can our world be changing,
So much, so quickly will it fall.

Surely we can’t keep pace with this,
Without knowing why we’re here,
Don’t you think if you just look back,
You’ll see our path quite clear.

Look at all the conflicts,
All the battles, all the wars,
Who most singularly has been behind these,
It’s right there if you decide to ignore.

But don’t look away, investigate.
Use history to make some sense,
Of why we ended up in this predicament,
Had we ever any chance.

Slowly waiting

My eyes are getting weary,
I’m in front of a computer all the time,
Searching high and low for answers,
But the questions are unkind.

How does one put faith in things,
When you know they are a lie,
How to convince the foolish,
Of their willingness to die.

For that’s what will happen,
To most of the human race,
Times aren’t just changing,
There’s someone new to take your place.

Your land is being dispossessed,
Just as fast as we now speak,
You had no way of knowing,
That your world has hit its peak.

And as we now slide downhill,
Approaching our predicted doom,
Unless we can somehow realize,
We must wake up and make it soon.

stand up

You’re so being lied to,
And with every word that you believe,
It brings us closer to our end,
One we’ll soon likely to receive.

So stand up, don’t put up,
With these untruths being passed,
As almost plausible answers,
To the questions we must ask.

If this virus is so deadly,
Why are so few of us being killed,
It seems as if the hype to this,
It’s just something being willed.

Upon the general population,
One of whom you must see,
This now all depends,
On how gullible we want to be.

Merry Christmas

I want to wish you a Merry Christmas,

Even in these troubled times,

Might we adjust to all that haunts us,

Especially all these crimes.

For none of us have seen such betrayal,

At any time in our lives,

And to look away as if not to notice,

Is to the truth that this belies.

Let’s look ahead to a brighter future,

One where we don’t feel that we can fail,

For if we have a faith in each other,

It’s to a future we can hail.

So believe in who your friends are,

And wisely choose your path,

To steer among all of those you know,

Who will take you for a bath.

Remember it is Christmas,

That comes but once a year,

Be brave, be true and above all,

Don’t live your life in fear.

What shows

When you write for poetry,

It’s not just about the rhyme,

But how you pick your words out,

So you don’t go forward blind.

In telling what your story means,

In words that leave a trail,

That bring you back from where are you once were,

As without that it will fail.

For in sharing our ideas,

Even though they might not mean that much,

It’s the journey in getting there and back,

That is most often, what we like to touch.

With our minds and with our feelings,

Sometimes deep within our soul,

And if you’ve done the job right,

For you know that it will show.

eyes wide open

Just on my computer,

The things that I did find,

At one time would have jaded me,

If not completely blown my mind.

It so helped to give up on TV,

A most certain waste of time,

For the info I’m taking in now,

I’m sure isn’t programming for my mind.

I’ve learned of sinister directives,

Sent down from powers who control,

Most of what we think and do,

And at times all that we are told.

For it’s such a subtle balance,

Getting people to do all that you might want,

You can’t appear to take one’s rights away,

Nor let your powers seem to flaunt.

The mastery that so controls us,

And keeps us satisfied,

By creating this grand illusion,

Even though our eyes seem to be open wide.

A story

If I were to tell a story,
It may be only half untrue,
For fiction is from the imagination,
And not what I intend to do.

These tales I try to tell you,
They happened in our past,
As to why we choose to leave them behind,
Bodes our future may not last.

We are as a whole,
A people, always strong and free,
As we live with our, too often distant memories,
And craft them into whom we want to be.

the aliens

These creatures live among us,
You know they have for years,
They speak to each other in private,
Not meant for other ears.

Their treachery knows no bounds,
It runs in them oh so deep,
Like that never ending battle,
With their subjects, all their sheep.

They stay hidden beyond a wall of confusion,
That’s very difficult to figure out,
Unless you’ve seen it at least once before,
And as then there will be no doubt.

If you ever have these questions,
And are willing now to ask,
Read about the past 5000 years,
And be willing to be amazed by that.

Can’t say as I’m not way too general,
Pointing out where you must go,
But if it’s only you that’s going,
Then only you will know.

So spread this wide and share with care,
All that you might learn,
And don’t stop till you’ve filled your cup,
With the knowledge that you yearn.

Friend’s in life

Well that was quite a presentation,

A good chance to learn so much,

Despite our trusty scrawler,

Who got to writing on and such.

I’m sure it’s quite demanding,

Carrying with you such new ideas,

This knowledge that can’t be unseen,

No matter how many years.

I patiently wait for my chance,

To share in on what’s been found,

These experiences and exposure,

Will eventually all come round.

I think that we who aren’t included,

Must never sit back and complain,

When we see our friends meet with troubles,

We should bend an ear to help them now explain.

All that might trouble them,

In days and years to come,

Might it be our kind reassurance,

That helps keep them whole and one.

Growing up

I remember up on Trinity,

Over Tuft‘s Cove Way,

We were moving out,

To a place called Woodside,

Trying to find our way.

Dad had died a few months back,

We had all changed a little bit,

Not so much my younger siblings,

They weren’t too badly scarred by it,

But my brother, mom and me,

Had been taken down by just a bit.

Mom would never show it,

To be busted up inside,

You couldn’t show anything wrong,

You didn’t want the kids to hide.

That’s when she came to my bro and I,

To ask us for our help,

We saw three $1000 bills from Dad’s insurance,

The last card that he’d been dealt.

Said to us quite honestly,

Do you know boys, I think I can,

But I need your help these days,

As I want you to be a man.

Your Dad’s no longer with us,

We’ve got a start, I’ve got a plan,

But I need you to help me too,

Your Dad’s not here, it’s time to take a stand.

So he and I stepped up, we helped out,

We took our turn,

Got a reason to grow up,

Help the family not get burned.

We were that house of brats down the hill,

We got to know the neighborhood,

It became the longest place I’d ever lived,

I had always hoped it would.

Of course there was the I. Conception,

Main reason we moved down this way,

Mom was always with the C.W.L.,

That’s where she knew she’d stay.

Top of the hill was the grocery,

Was it Dumpfie’s or Delaney’s,

Take your choice,

They were quaintly standing side by side,

Most meant, on who would hear your voice.

We really don’t stop and credit,

Where we all had grown up,

Just how much that meant to us,

Never seems to be enough.

And until our lives are over,

That never has to end,

And believing who you’ve always been,

It’s just your story, not meant to lend.

no cheese at the top

Should I dare be so delighted,

When I hear that down the states,

Don has called the Marines in,

To help determine all their fates.

No one said the job was easy,

And this is just what I would want,

To capture all the Capital’s demon rats,

That make up half the swamp.

It’s not going to be easy,

For these guys are tough to face,

But he’s got all the exit’s covered,

And there’s nowhere left for them to race.

It’ll be real nice to see this,

Cleaned up after this awful stain,

I’m just hoping it won’t be long,

Till he has them ‘all’ in chains.

handed

You know, we all just want to be happy,

It’s our sadness we dislike,

Living with whom we don’t want to be,

It’s just another part of life.

It’s good to find yourself sometimes,

Somewhere out amidst the crowd,

Deciding what you most care about,

And shouting it out loud.

Declare yourself whole and true,

You’re just a person like the rest,

For it’s what you do with what the world hand’s you,

That most puts you to the test.

far from the worst of us

It’s said 5 million people,

Have now taken the vaccine,

All doing it willingly,

I can’t believe I’m seeing this,

As crazy as it seems.

Should we take some consolation,

That it’s not the fighters but the sheep,

Who have determined this the best place,

To put their trust and there to keep.

No, I don’t like to leave anyone behind,

But we are in one big fight,

To find out what now truly ail us,

And pushback with all our might.

It’s said, find out what you can’t criticize,

And you’ll find your enemy, that’s for sure,

The trick is finding friends like you,

With whom we might endure.

For this time in our lives,

We’ll have to make decisions,

Quite often, just to survive,

And if the best of us is not far from the worst of us,

We’ll stand a pretty good chance of staying alive.

A story

If I were to tell a story,

It may be only half untrue,

For fiction is from the imagination,

And not what I want to do.

These tales I try to tell you,

They happened in our past,

Bodes our future may not last.

We are as a whole,

A people, always strong and free,

As we live with our, too often distant memories,

And craft them into whom we want to be.

Let your force be held within you,

Draw on it when you’re in need,

Keep who you might live for,

A part of the thirst that you now heed.

old school

I love these old school photographs,

They bring back such a time,

We were all ready to experience,

What we all felt was just fine.

We’d smile when told to,

It was just part of growing up,

Our lives weren’t quite ours yet,

We had to wait for them to catch up.

But it really wasn’t all that bad,

As we were learning as we’d go,

Not know much but it didn’t matter,

We’d get our chance and show.

Who and what we were some day,

We knew it had to come,

As we saw it in our friends and family,

All those with whom we’d become one.

glad that you showed up

It’s no longer important to be at your finest,

But simply at your best,

So your resolve might best to solve,

What ail;s us and all the rest.

Think what you can do for,

Both yourself and all mankind,

You might feel like just a drop in a bucket,

But if we can fill it up we’ll find.

It might be just the thing,

To put out the fires of today,

And after having squelched them,

We all stand around and say.

Man that’s what I needed,

I’m sure glad that you showed up,

I couldn’t have done it without you,

I would’ve never had enough.

the aliens

These creatures live among us,

You know they have for years,

They speak to each other in private,

Not meant for other ears.

Their treachery knows no bounds,

It runs in them oh so deep,

Like that never ending battle,

With their subjects, all their sheep.

They stay hidden beyond a wall of confusion,

That’s very difficult to sort out,

Unless you’ve seen it at least once before,

And as then you’ll have no doubt.

If you ever have these questions,

And are willing now to ask,

Read about the past 5000 years,

And be willing to be amazed by that.

appendage coverage

It seems to get my groceries now,

I’ve got to wear a sock,

Place it above my nostrils,

Just below my mouth to talk.

And now that I’m a member,

Of this ever growing club,

Should I not be just the least concerned,

When I get a chance to snub.

These rules that chain us down so well,

Reasoning that my health,

Can’t get along without them,

Even if it’s from the bottom of the deck,

That they’ve been dealt.

Take a look at the numbers,

That, can’t be hidden anymore,

We’re killing off the elderly,

As we willfully ignore.

The fact that this nasal test,

Is almost never true,

Used just to scare you half to death,

So you will believe the lies they have for you.

You ask of what agenda,

Who could ever want us gone,

I’d say to open up your eyes,

Before, to this little green spec,

We don’t belong.

winning for a change

It’s so hard to be faithful,

To the news put out today,

My side says we’re winning,

Your side, a different say.

Can I not sit and wonder,

At these opposite poles so prearranged,

Can it not be, I’d like to see,

Someone winning for a change.

This constant fear of turmoil,

It seems to be carried by one, by all,

Can it be that we just can’t see,

We can only walk, after having learned to crawl.

To put these fears behind us,

Is what we must try to figure out,

For until we can, we will not win,

And forever stay in doubt.

I so hope this wraps up soon,

Watch the good guys come on back,

To a place where they’d be proud to live,

Just down the road and around out the back.

the world junior’s just wrapped up

My with all the hoopla,

It’s so good to watch the boys,

Cut their skates in deep,

Stop playing with the toys.

When it’s time to make it count,

There’s nothing like those nucks,

They know they represent,

Everyone of us.

Been watching since my Dad‘s lap,

Way back when Stan Mikita was my choice,

To be that kind a player,

Who gave me my own voice.

There’s something about this game of ours,

That keeps one coming back,

It’s not easy to play that well,

So we know who gets the sack.

And even though along the way,

There is tragedy that shows,

It’s the cost of being number one,

That everybody knows.

Puts pride in our each and every step,

When the game is on the line,

Can’t see this is any different,

Just like it’s been last time.

sleepin

Then there are those with blinders,

Afraid to look away,

But hold on to their own hellbent course,

And it’s there that they will to stay.

You can hint at things,

But cannot lead them down the path,

To their own enlightenment,

As it’s not something they can grasp.

But there’s still hope for them,

No matter what they say,

As it’s their own grimm determination,

To stay asleep and be comforted just that way.

part of you

How we crave the truth these days,

Somewhere else besides the lies,

That keep pushing us to fear the flu,

On the road to our own demise.

Will there be any of this confusion,

If we just stopped to listen from inside,

Maybe we’re not all that unhealthy,

It’s just the truth we’re meant to hide.

For when I see these masked members,

Of a society that’s gone astray,

One’s who are simply made to listen,

And dare not have their say.

I wonder are we that easily lead,

From cause and then to effect,

And so effortlessly succumb to,

As to politely genuflect.

For that is when I must stop there,

As I refuse to believe the lies,

For if you repeat them long enough,

They’ll become a part of you, you realize.

that way

Do you ever feel your pen has dried up,

And you have nothing left to say,

Not that you’ve said everything it takes,

Just that you cannot find a way.

To tell what you believe in,

Way down, deep within your soul,

That part of you that is most true,

One that only you would know.

It’s never very easy,

To shape the thoughts and words that say,

Who you’ve been and ever will be,

And plan to stay that way.

Oh Bonnie

Oh Bonnie, like the song they sing,
Why have you changed your tune,
Could it be someone else’s wish,
That controls which way you swoon.

At the cost of being honest,
True to just yourself,
Should we all not wonder,
If you’re playing the hand,
That you’ve been dealt.

When you can’t be trusted,
In the daily scheme of things,
Will the clarity of your words,
Speak volumes in the way they ring.

Oh Chrystia

Chrystia, you say you want my lil stash,
The stuff that I have saved,
For just such a fateful day,
In case it ever came.

I’ve never been a spender,
And the little wealth that I now own,
Has come at the cost of sacrifice,
For a future I have not known.

As now you wish to take this,
And destroy my fateful plan,
To keep my life safe and secure,
Shut me down as an independent man.

If there’s something thing you can do as a teacher,
Is to know yourself quite well,
For if you can cast on to others,
A most discerning, clearly worded spell.

One that they might feel,
Comes from your heart,
Your meaning and your way,
They’ll then tend to keep it their’s,
And with them it will stay.

Just how much I think it’s frightful,
Of the people I now meet,
Have become desperate in a search for answers,
And the truth for which they seek.

I am not talking there uncontested believe in their TV,
That holds them back from what they’ll know,
If they were to just dig a little deeper,
From what MSM is willing to show.

Search in all the dusty corners,
As tough as that might seem,
Ask uncertain questions,
Of others, share their dreams.

Do it while you still can,
Reach out while there’s a way,
Or languish in your ignorance,
As it’s there, that you will stay.

Until you’re willing to except,
The truth and how it seems,
To shake you to the inner core,
Right up to where you dream.

For yes there is an enemy,
Pushing you to where you won’t want to go,
It’s just that he hides behind,
All that you now don’t know.

Have a look at Janet Ossebaard’s,
Second series, chapter 4,
Do your questioning mind a favour,
With info to explore.

Not Unseen

Oh my God, is this not part of it,
To worry me to death as well,
The information that I’m finding,
Should send these players off to hell.

As more and more of the lies are uncovered,
How in heaven’s name can one stay asleep,
To all that is unraveling,
And in our minds, left there to keep.

For we can never unsee,
What we’ve already seen,
Nor any longer believe the lies,
Of these inconceivable deceivers,
Who now shudder at our cries.

And as we wake up each in turn,
To discover our own fate,
Is tied to what we’re now sharing,
For all of our own sake’s.

Never thought I’d have to suffer,
As much as I am today,
Over the truths that are now prescribed to me,
By the MSM and what they say.

I hate to call you silly, friend,
I don’t mean to sound unkind,
But in finding all your answers,
I never thought you’d mind.

For I’ve laid them out for you to see,
But now you somehow refuse to look,
Not wanting to go against what you’ve learned,
After knowing how you mistook.

The reams of information,
That you found so wise to choose,
And make it part of who you are,
To now find out how much you’ve been quite used,

For this is your life we’re talking,
You don’t get a second chance,
If you truly want to keep on talking,
Stop doing the media’s fateful dance.

Walk away from your lovely TV,
Go somewhere else to see the news,
Find out who you just can’t criticize,
To discover all that you can’t choose.

Think for yourself,
And please don’t bother,
With any who just won’t know,
Where their fate is eventually headed,
A direction you must not choose to go.

new

There is that one big question,
That you have to ask yourself,
Who would want to get rid of me,
I alone, all by myself.

I really can’t tell you that,
Unless you learn it on your own,
You’ll never ever believe me,
That’s why you’re the one,
To have it now be known.

For most when they discover this,
Turn tail and hide their face,
As if there’s some big monster,
That lays down some viscous chase.

But it’s time to hold your head up,
You may not be liked. quite all that much,
By a certain group of someone’s,
Who make an art of hate and deceit and such.

And do try to forgive them,
As this type of thing gives me such a fright,
Do you remember who you’re fighting for,
You and yours and all your lives.

Admit Defeat

What line do you cross, where you can’t turn back,

Even though your lies have told,

Just how far you’ve gone down that path,

To where your soul cannot be unsold.

Don’t take your crimes so lightly,

For you know you have to pay,

All of it back, ever so rightly,

In that you don’t have a say.

For it’s all a matter of getting caught,

And snagged you, we have done,

For you won’t be heading home,

None too soon,

And you’re not the only one.

Oh Chrystia

Chrystia, you say you want my lil stash,

The stuff that I have saved,

For just such a fateful day,

In case it ever came.

I’ve never been a spender,

And the little wealth that I now own,

Has come at the cost of sacrifice,

For a future I have not known.

As now you wish to take this,

And destroy my fateful plan,

To keep my life safe and secure,

Shut me down as an independent man.

Oh Bonnie

Oh Bonnie, like the song they sing,

Why have you changed your tune,

Could it be someone else’s wish,

That controls which way you swoon.

At the cost of being honest,

True to just yourself,

Should we all not wonder,

If you’re playing the hand,

That you’ve been dealt.

When you can’t be trusted,

In the daily scheme of things,

Will the clarity of your words,

Speak volumes in the way they ring.

Ursula

Oh my dear, dear Ursula,

How do you move me so,

In knowing what you believe in,

And believing, what you know.

It’s really just that simple’

You are a fine example to us all,

Might we keep most willingly to seek,

Our truth, our heart, our call.

Might you take such solace,

In knowing that we care,

For all that your truth guides us,

As much as we can share.

Believe me, you fine woman,

May you recieve what you might need,

And our congratulations are in order,

May it be justice you receive.

A Teacher

If there’s something thing you can do as a teacher,

Is to know yourself quite well,

For if you can cast on to others,

A most discerning, clearly worded spell.

One that they might feel,

Comes from your heart,

Your meaning and your way,

They’ll then tend to keep it their’s,

And with them it will stay.

Freedoms

If you’re not asleep, you’re worried,

About what you might choose to do,

Take all this change towards a future,

One you know is not for you.

And rebel as you never have before,

Or sit quietly by and watch your life,

Be taken from you forever more,

Amongst the turmoil and the strife.

You say it’s not that bad yet,

But you can see the writing on the wall,

It’s that you haven’t decided to act just yet,

Waiting till it all might fall.

Like a house of cards that tumbles,

Down onto the ground,

And there with our dreams shattered,

Will all of us be found.

It seems now quite depressing,

To think as if we’re doomed,

But your life has changed I’m guessing,

Your freedoms have run out of room

A Fateful Plan

Don’t get out much these days,

There’s not much to travel to,

My friends are all in lockdown,

No one left to pick or choose.

My only hope is if Trump comes through,

To fight this oppressive scourge we see,

Make it a part of the distant past,

Not soon enough for me.

They say he’s out to win back,

Our freedoms now all but gone,

And make those responsible,

Pay for what they’ve done.

The plan from what I hear,

What I’ve begun to understand,

Is when it’s time to warp speed the vaccinations,

He’s got something else now planned.

The military is to roll out,

Under the guise of giving jabs,

But really what they’re doing,

Is trapping these criminals, oh so bad.

It’ll be one big coordinated,

Scoop up, of the many who have betrayed,

A country and the world left on its own,

Ripe and ready to be saved.

But so I wish it might be that simple,

That there’s someone on my side,

Who has a way to stop all this,

A plan to change the tide.

For that is what it seems like,

We need a little shot of courage,

Of hope, to make our lives,

From feeling oh so desperate,

By letting our future again soon thrive.

And shame me if I might spread hope,

To all of you who won’t believe,

There’s still hope left for all of us,

May we all be then relieved.

Because no matter what happens,

We’ll never have a future,

Unless there’s something, someone,

To look forward to,

And to grab onto such a fateful wish,

Is what I propose to do.

50 years

Fifty years and counting,

It doesn’t seem so long,

When you’ve been involved in all of it,

Can’t help but copy it down,

For there’s many things of value,

That we hold on to in our world,

As we add them up to help us with,

Our future as it unfolds.

And may both our tomorrow’s be bright and sunny,

So as looking forward from today,

We’re included in their outcomes,

So that we both can have our say.

Discover This

There is that one big question,

That you have to ask yourself,

Who would want to get rid of me,

I alone, all by myself.

I really can’t tell you that,

Unless you learn it on your own,

You’ll never ever believe me,

That’s why you’re the one,

To have it now be known.

For most when they discover this,

Turn tail and hide their face,

As if there’s some big monster,

That lays down some viscous chase.

But it’s time to hold your head up,

You may not be liked. quite all that much,

By a certain group of someone’s,

Who make an art of hate and deceit and such.

And do try to forgive them,

As this type of thing gives me such a fright,

Do you remember who you’re fighting for,

You and yours and all your lives.

Think For Yourself

Never thought I’d have to suffer,

As much as I am today,

Over the truths that are now prescribed to me,

By the MSM and what they say.

I hate to call you silly, friend,

I don’t mean to sound unkind,

But in finding all your answers,

I never thought you’d mind.

For I’ve laid them out for you to see,

But now you somehow refuse to look,

Not wanting to go against what you’ve learned,

After knowing how you mistook.

The reams of information,

That you found so wise to choose,

And make it part of who you are,

To now find out how much you’ve been quite used,

For this is your life we’re talking,

You don’t get a second chance,

If you truly want to keep on talking,

Stop doing the media’s fateful dance.

Walk away from your lovely TV,

Go somewhere else to see the news,

Find out who you just can’t criticize,

To discover all that you can’t choose.

Think for yourself,

And please don’t bother,

With any who just won’t know,

Where their fate is eventually headed,

A direction you must not choose to go.

Mind a Favour

Just how much I think it’s frightful,

Of the people I now meet,

Have become desperate in a search for answers,

And the truth for which they seek.

I am not talking there uncontested believe in their TV,

That holds them back from what they’ll know,

If they were to just dig a little deeper,

From what MSM is willing to show.

Search in all the dusty corners,

As tough as that might seem,

Ask uncertain questions,

Of others, share their dreams.

Do it while you still can,

Reach out while there’s a way,

Or languish in your ignorance,

As it’s there, that you will stay.

Until you’re willing to except,

The truth and how it seems,

To shake you to the inner core,

Right up to where you dream.

For yes there is an enemy,

Pushing you to where you won’t want to go,

It’s just that he hides behind,

All that you now don’t know.

Have a look at Janet Ossebaard’s,

Second series, chapter 4,

Do your questioning mind a favour,

With info to explore.

Once you’ve found your way to travel,

On life’s oh so rocky road of fear,

Can you not find the next step,

And the will to make it clear,

For there will always be decisions,

Some that aren’t so great,

But this one you must now know,

Is the one that will seal your fate.

It’s said, you’ll never reach your goals,
Unless your one to persevere,
Never knowing the kind of smoke and mirrors,
That you just might have to clear.

For there’s only one direction,
That gives the right to carry one’s hope for our youth,
Might it be for ever upward,
That we at the top, will find the truth.

In support of Mak who has made it his reason to shine a light on the treason that surrounds us all.

MAK

I’m so glad I’m not a prancing puppy,
Of which I surely don’t want to be,
And if I was and still felt like this,
Would I have the courage to just be me.

Maybe yes, who knows,
But it would be an uphill climb,
Trying to be the best that I can be, citizen,
Hoping no one else would mind.

Cause I want to believe in my neighbour,
And have him do the same for me,
Promising to shake hands when it’s all over,
Though there’s no end in sight, to see.

And now you leave me here to dangle,

Upon your wish to take from me,

All that I feel is right and dear,

Of that we both can see.

As you’ve become satisfied with your minions,

Who blindly mimic all that you will say,

Leaving the rest of us to question,

As to why the maskless are now your prey.

Ralph

Go ahead swing it to me,

Make sure it goes up high,

So I’ve got a chance to grab it,

When it comes down and hits my thigh.

It was the summer of 69,

I was all of but 13,

Was given permission to hop up on,

My favourite uncle’s pop truck,

Show how tough I could be in the sun.

We’d be going up and down Pleasant,

Slinging cases of Pepsi then some Coke,

Never heard that much complaining,

Even though we often spoke.

I was just a skinny teenager,

But it meant a lot to me,

To be thought of as a friend to,

A great guy, I’d like to be.

We hadn’t been close like that,

Really ever since,

But I knew I’d always remember ,

That fine forever snapshot,

Even if it was just a glimpse.

Not Unseen

Oh my God, is this not part of it,

To worry me to death as well,

The information that I’m finding,

Should send these players off to hell.

As more and more of the lies are uncovered,

How in heaven’s name can one stay asleep,

To all that is unraveling,

And in our minds, left there to keep.

For we can never unsee,

What we’ve already seen,

Nor any longer believe the lies,

Of these inconceivable deceivers,

Who now shudder at our cries.

And as we wake up each in turn,

To discover our own fate,

Is tied to what we’re now sharing,

For all of our own sake’s.

What’s Coming

This is what’s coming,

Unless we can stop it,

I can’t, I won’t sugar coat this stuff.

We can’t say we didn’t see it coming,

Only if we don’t know enough.

What this clip will show you,

You may have to watch it twice,

It’s what’s intended for you and yours.

I can’t put it anymore nice.

This I know it’s really really scary,

Believe me I didn’t know,

But not too long ago,

I was where you are now,

Until some one took me aside to show.

The most complicated and evil plan,

That I could hardly but believe,

And now that I’ve travelled this far,

I can’t unsee it, so as to be decieved.

Train

Never been one for the soap box,

I never thought the need,

But I’m telling you folks,

Some one’s gotta proclaim this,

This insatiable full on greed.

For what is being taken from us,

At a time but just a bit,

Hiding behind a familiar mirror,

While I don’t want any of it.

But that’s how you take from other’s,

Without them having known,

Before you’re off to the races,

And never letting yourself be shown.

But I guess we now have to look at ourselves,

Not as reflections of our past,

But as real as what we’re going through,

If we’re ever gonna make each other last.

And although I don’t have the answers,

And have taught myself too well of how to complain,

There’s nothing like looking back down the tracks,

After having heard the train.

Oh Bonnie,

Where did you ever come from,

Never having recieved so much as one vote,

Some how being majestically appointed,

Without one single ballot being wrote,

And now your making decisions,

On behalf of me and mine,

After somehow taking it for granted,

That, that would be just fine.

As now you claim your reason

For these measures you now impose,

Are because of those poor 170 people,

That your viscous virus has now chose.

Yes there were 10,700 also included in that toll,

But those were all in nursing homes,

Waiting at the end of days, you know.

Not I or most don’t wish,

Death to be knocking at the door,

But the way you make all this sound,

Is that it’s something we can’t ignore.

And ignore it I don’t want to,

But I’ll be damned if I’ll feel scared,

Enough to let you have at my arm,

Ready to jab at, when it’s bared.

For the only way you can make this happen,

Is to convince me of this trick,

That I and those around me,

Are just about to get quite sick.

No I’m not

Some one in his basement,

Searching the web instead,

Of watching my TV,

Why go looking for the answers,

When they’re right in front of me.

But when those answers don’t make sense,

Even though I try to find,

Why would my nightly news cast,

Go messing with my mind.

For that right there, is when I decided,

I can not trust those talking heads,

To continue to go on leading me,

While not trusting myself instead.

I then really started searching,

And found more truth just a click away,

Not that I was the one telling it,

But I know someday I’ll have my say.

As that’s what this is all about,

To do my thinking for myself,

Not hiding behind some one else’s words,

But getting to know the one’s that I’ve been dealt.

So come to your sense’s soon I hope,

It doesn’t have to be today,

But think about doing it,

Just so that I might hear, you too, have your say.

Keeping me From Thinking

What happens when it gets turned off,

This screen that I live by with regret,

Always keeping me from thinking freely,

Just cause it hasn’t happened yet.

Where would I turn for answers,

Solve them one by one,

Maybe comeup with my own questions,

Work on them till they’re done.

But that’s not always going to happen,

For there’s so much beyond the scenes,

And everytime I try to look for,

It seems well beyond my means.

I guess it depends on where your looking,

To places not quite so controlled,

Might you find the truth that binds you,

To the stories being told.

And when you find that truthful nugget,

That you always will remember,

For the lies will only last a moment,

While the truth goes on forever.

Oh Bonnie

Oh Bonnie, don’t you have your secrets,

The one’s that you won’t tell,

Can there be more to you,

Than you now lay bare,

Or is it just as well.

Would I really want to see,

Whose running your big show,

Because this testing that you speak of,

Is just more fear to push us,

As to that, you must now know.

To all of the believers,

Who trust you to the core,

If only they might look up,

Who you answer to for sure.

Take that ten point star your wearing,

Is it there for us to see,

A timely decoration,

One I’m sure that you believe.

The Jab

It’s going to be a little less quiet soon,

Don’t be surprised at a knock at the door,

Opening up to a now imagined scene,

One we all quite surely will deplore.

Hi, may I help you kindly,

When you say roll up my sleeve,

I really must protest,

And ask you now to leave.

But I see you brought the army,

Against all enemies of the state,

I ask you how I did end up here,

Or at least why don’t I rate.

I guess it comes right down to it,

If you intend to force my hand,

You might as well pull your trigger,

Cause this is where I’ll make my stand.

My pied piper

Where is my pied piper,

I need him to tell me how,

To think inside this box of his,

And not turn away and scowl.

That special some one,

Who will take care of me,

To watch I don’t have to pop my head up,

So I don’t have to see.

The troubles that await us,

On this deadly path of soul’s,

Another up ahead there,

How many more we’ll never know.

But that’s not how life should be run,

Fretting from one death, on to the next,

We all must go sometime,

Is it now confidence you neglect.

Please, I assure you,

Our lives will go on,

Just beware the mighty jab,

If you still tend to belong.

So here’s to our future,

One where we’re told not what to do,

As at most make our own decisions,

And at least, to care about you.

Oh John

Oh John, we could really use you,

To help us win this war,

One that’s filled with so much deceit,

That as a people we can’t ignore,

An allegiance to truth and justice,

Not to fill pockets full with cash,

And now knowing once you start this,

There’s really no turning back.

For we will stop the untruths,

Take away the right to lie,

And if any dare keep this going,

It’s into the pan, where they will fry.

Doctor, Doctor give me the news

I’ve never seen such fools before,

All we who think there’s proof,

Hiding foolishly behind arguments,

That have never held an ounce of truth.

What does one ask one’s self,

When sheepishly asking why,

Must we wear a mask for our own and other’s safety,

Or is it because of what some one else implies.

As that’s for sure the question,

Can we hold ourselves account,

To being our own best source of information,

And make our own decision, we know will count.

Waiting

Are you patiently waiting,

For these changes we now see,

To go some place they’re more wanted,

How can all this ever be.

And you say there’s no one to tell you,

What you should most likely do,

Just to make some sense of this,

So to one’s self, be but true.

And though we’d hoped to have an answer,

To all of this by now,

I know we won’t find it,

By watching TV somehow.

Do find some one to talk to,

One who also doesn’t believe the lies,

That keep you so afraid of thinking,

Away from that magical box that we most rely.

Television is not the truth, television is a god damn amusement park, television’s a circus, a carnival, a travelling troupe of acrobats, story tellers, dancers, singers, jugglers, side show freaks, lion tamers, and football players. It’s in the boredom killing buisiness. This is mass madness you maniac’s. Turn them off.

Eternal You

Why is it that you can’t say anything,

When it comes to what is being said,

You dare to name the one’s doing it,

And your more than likely to end up dead.

What kind of world has this all come to,

When living in fear is all the proof,

You need to know that something’s wrong,

Whenever you might get closer to the truth.

For that’s the way this treachery works, as always,

When it’s done to any more than just you,

It’s so important to keep it secret,

The lies of that once eternal You.

Every Day

Oppression doesn’t pick sides,

It’s most often there willing to win,

And there’s really no way to stop it,

Unless you do it before it begins.

So this is all our time’s,

Rolled up in to one,

If you can’t see the light that shines upon it,

Look a little closer,

And do it before we’re done.

Don’t mean to scare you witless,

Cause those are something that you’ll need,

To take and figure out what’s going on,

In a way to most take heed.

Look to our past and the lies that hold,

Up as truth’s, now every day,

Cause it’s said if you tell them long enough,

It’s with us that they will stay.

It’s said, you’ll never reach your goals,

Never knowing the kind of smoke and mirrors,

That you just might have to clear.

For there’s only one direction,

That gives the right to carry one’s hope for our youth,

Might it be forever upward,

That there at the top, we’ll find the truth.

What time is it?

This morning I missed the time change,

I try not to watch the news,

It’s just so full of lies today,

I can’t help, from feeling used.

To promote some one else’s ideas,

For a future,

That most of us don’t know,

Will take away our rights and freedoms,

As that’s already beginning to show.

Just when will you get suspicious,

And start to realize something’s up,

Do you really need me to tell you

Not to give in to all this stuff.

Six feet from here,

Don’t touch that mask,

Or cause me any harm,

Just wait till a week from next Tuesday,

There’ll be a needle, that’ll be the charm.

Cause that’s what this is all about,

Just what you’ll let into your veins,

And should we not be most weary,

Of what’s in it and then us,

Will we ever be the same.

As you must know it won’t stop there,

There’ll be a reason to jab you ever more,

Till your just a walking, talking,

Part of who you once were,

If you even make it out the door.

I don’t mean to try to scare you,

Unless you haven’t been scared enough,

The decision has to be one by one,

If we’re gonna call this bluff,

For it’s not just your life your agreeing to,

Have be put to this deceitful test.

But others who quite like you,

Don’t want to be left behind with all the rest,

So do my friend ask yourself,

Are you going to agree to this stab in the dark,

One that we don’t know enough about,

Will it simply save us and give us a brand new start?

Hasn’t happened yet

How much TV have you watched today,
Have you bothered to go anywhere else,
It’s the best place to find the answers,
With what’s now so often being dealt,

Yes it takes the best cards,
To win at every hand,
But if your questions keep getting answered,
Why would there be need to understand.

That our world is quickly changing,
And we’re all being taken for a ride,
Not that we’d have much say in it,
Unless we do consciously decide.

To allow it all to happen,
Even though it’s what we face,
Because there’s someone feeding us solutions,
Just as long as we keep pace.

And not bother to slow down,
Or even take a breath,
For if you’re hell-bent on your own destruction,
Just because it hasn’t happened yet.

Halfway to the truth

I don’t think you’re here to find out,
That which is the biggest mystery to us all,
How can our world be changing,
So much, so quickly will it fall.

Surely we can’t keep pace with this,
Without knowing why we’re here,
Don’t you think if you just look back,
You’ll see our path quite clear.

Look at all the conflicts,
All the battles, all the wars,
Who most singularly has been behind these,
It’s right there if you decide to ignore.

But don’t look away, investigate.
Use history to make some sense,
Of why we ended up in this predicament,
Had we ever any chance.

NOT JUST THEM BUT EVEN YOU

I love this little place of mine,
With four walls to keep me in,
They’re four more things that protect me,
From committing many sins.

I haven’t had that much want or need,
I can’t think of whom to thank,
But whoever did that for me,
Would think of me as just a wank.

Because there’s never any greatness,
If in times that you once shared,
It’s the best of you and the worst of you,
That you know that had been cared.

By the people who always loved you,
And more than likely now still do,
They have faith that you’ll look after,
Not just them but even you.

/

OR IS THERE?

Oh my dear mask,
Won’t you help me sell it,
At three out of 10,000,
I’ll have you know,
It certainly hasn’t been easy,
To let your silly fear soon grow.

And you know I keep on trying,
The very best I can,
But I don’t know how much more I can hold onto,
This pesky lie that now still stands.

Why have you shut the world down,
If you really care for me,
Can your firm direction,
Be for something I can’t see

And that is when I question,
How long must you keep this up,
When knowing that there’s really no good reason,
To not admit, you’ve had enough,
Or is there?

/

FATEFUL EXPIRY DATE

We have to learn somehow,
To live without our masters,
Because they are on another path,
And though you might not feel included,
Or even quite so daft.

We’re being left behind,
In this world today,
Being told to sell our souls,
For just a little bit of riches,
For a reason we should but know.

These are meant simply to appease us,
To make us feel quite close to great,
When they’re only looking,
For our most fateful expiry date.

/

TEMPTED

Yes I’m talking about the wicked,
The ones that swear they know your soul,
And that, with every way you’re tempted,
Is just how much you’ll say you know.

/

TO BELIEVE

You do have to believe,
In what you do,
It’s just in doing it,
Can you still believe in you.

/

LIKE TO BE

No, it’s just me I’d like to be 90,
Maybe take more things to read,
Never had much time for it,
But always appreciated it’s need.

I want to get my voice out,
Not just one that I do care,
But make it part of what concerns us,
And all that we can share.

/

NOT THE HUMAN RACE

Remember when, if you wore a mask in public,
You were the only one that was sick,
Now it’s everyone else and their brother,
So you get quite ill quite quick.

But I haven’t seen the illness,
Except for on TV,
And since I stopped watching that,
I don’t see it anymore in me.

But I guess it’s just that simple,
Who you might listen to today,
Is feeding you a story,
So that they can have their way.

And why might I be so distrustful,
Having come back from where I went,
I don’t see me believing any word,
Especially by the mainstream media when it’s sent.

Who am I to be so brave,
Not to take the most convenient path,
To a truth with proof,
It’s just integrity that it lacks.

So sell your words to someone who cares,
Leave me dangling on my own,
Because I am one sleuth who needs the proof,
That it’s just deceit that you now hone.

This story doesn’t add up,
Three in 10,000 saying bye,
I doubt they’d ask us to sink the ship,
Just because we’re made to cry.

But in life you take your chances,
It’s never been this planned,
Being followed around without a conscience,
And refusing to take a stand.

Know when you’re being had my friend,
This now is a different time and place,
Won’t you open your eyes,
To what really ails you,
And that’s not the human race.

/

VERY GOOD CHANCE

Try to see that the world and its ways,
Are not being forced upon you,
You simply have to agree with it,
If you think, it is the truth,
And might you just ask around,
And see if there is any proof.

In the way this all is being sold,
Even though it doesn’t make any sense,
Three in every 10,000,
Is quite a very good chance.

That both you and your gram,
Are not going to fall over all too soon,
But those who need your kind permission,
Wish you to sing their desperate tune.

Yes they know they’re wrong,
In doing what they do,
For they know there cooked, if you don’t decide,
To now have it done to you.

JUST THE LONGING

I set myself crying again tonight,
I don’t know why I did,
It’s as if I hadn’t noticed,
What I try to keep from myself and hid.

But I guess it only matters,
To me and what I know,
As the price to pay for family,
Doesn’t always seem to show.

Maybe just the longing,
And that closeness having waned,
I don’t see any other recourse,
Even though this one, that’s so disdained.

But how many things can you give up on,
Before you give up on who you are,
And if and when that happens,
Is that just how much you’ve traveled on so far.

And just like one more journey,
You might find yourself asking why,
Must I leave the ones I’ve loved,
Why can’t I give it just another try.

/

FEEL NEEDED

If every day you can do more for others,
Then you can do for yourself,
You’re going to dream a little better,
Especially about your health.

For it’s when we do feel needed,
Each in his or her own way,
That it’s so much easier to wake up to,
A brighter more belonged to, day.

/

VACATION

It’s so nice, it’s like a permanent vacation,
So it seems,
I’ve lost the urge to worry,
I just wonder what that means.

Sounds like you’re going headlong,
Down the garbage chute,
Never caring much to matter,
Unless there’s someone else’s proof.

A CHANCE TO SAY

We watch what’s going by us,
Finding truths that soon pass by,
Not something to hold onto,
Each one of them’s a lie.

To look a little closer now.
Are the answers too soon there,
After just having asked the question,
Or do we really even care.

For there’s so much more to know,
If you let it,
But you gotta look, someplace else,
Learn to read, when you find your need,
Keep the books down off the shelf.

And for those who are more visual,
Try the net as a place to weigh,
What makes you think,
Like you give a stink,
Whether you still have a chance to say.

To speak your mind so boldly,
Like you had never meant to do,
But the whole thing puts us up to it,
It’s now or never, like we knew.

A FEW HAIL MARY’S

My mom was loved by neighbours,
Not because she had some wealth,
But you always knew that Marj would do,
More for you than for herself.

And even though she always kept the balance,
In the scales all to herself,
She’d never expect a favour,
And was so surprised at this wealth,

Cause she believed in people,
And always tried to know,
How and why her friends were,
Just how far from her heart they’d go.

She’d always keep ya posted.
About what uncle and what aunt,
Would be so close to passing,
And what we could do and want.

To send a few hail Mary’s,
Along with love and charm,
She’d get ya saying this all at bedtime,
For you had your daily duty to the farm.

Ya that special family unit,
One that you only knew,
Was the closest thing to heaven,
That you’d ever want to do.

And as these memories fade now,
To a more realistic kind of thought,
It’s always with deep emotion,
That my feelings are but wrought.

And with it’s loss it deepens,
My distrust of growing old,
For there’s never a happier future,
Than the one that you were told.

<

A RICH MAN’S WEALTH

I don’t claim to know the answers,
But I thrill when questions are asked,
If we haven’t got to the bottom of this, by now,
How shouldn’t we, expect it to last.

It just seems that every question,
Has got two or three answers ready for,
Any possible inquisition,
One that’s most often, just ignored.

But because my questions go unanswered,
Should I just stop asking them,
And hope for some relief,
From just my simple pen.

Of course we all know what is coming,
All the rest is getting us ready,
To rollup our sleeve and say yes,
Even though I’ll never trust it,
To let it in my body,
Now, you jest.

Cause once it’s in,
I’ll be part of what’s been,
As I will say goodbye to my good health,
With only knowing, the best that I could do,
Was to add to a rich man’s wealth.

So you might see where I’m coming from,
There’s no good science coming down,
That big old pipe to save us,
Long before we’ve drowned.

As drown I feel I’m doing,
Each and every day,
Cause you’ll have to starve me out,
Or put me in a house that you built,
To get your treacherously compromised way.

For a needle I won’t be doing,
And quite frankly,
You might as well kill me now,
For with what little right I have to fight,
I’ll never agree to your lies, somehow.

<

ADMIT TO BEING MINE

I so want to be a thoughtful thinker,
I too, want to be brought to mind,
Might I make this foolish clinker,
Somehow admit to being mine.

<

ALL ABOUT BELONGING

My grandfather was a big man,
Of course I was not but nine,
When I first did meet him,
And was told that he was mine.

I’d never had a grand dad,
And this was surely something new,
That I was thrown out towards,
This old man I never knew.

But we slowly got to know each other,
I remember we were out in the boat,
He taught me how to handle lobsters,
Without getting nipped or poked.

I think it’s all about belonging,
And with whom you often shared,
What can’t you ask from your future,
When you’ve been so well prepared.

Be it’s sure to makes us humble,
And for it’s management we seek,
That love that comes from being one,
And with it’s comfort of others we will meet.

It’s almost like having a leg up,
Cause I always had my team,
Of others not so but quite like me,
Or so it ever seemed.

<

ANOTHER CHOICE

The hand that rides over you,
From where you might just stand,
To keep on asking all these questions,
Just how, you do now stand.

It just feels like such an inquisition,
Do you want to live or not,
Of course I do, you fool,
Is there another choice I’ve got.

<

AS IF IT’S NEVER BEEN

It’s as if I am asked to fight for my own enslavement,
And then not dare to question why,
I stumble to the pavement,
With unseeing eyes and cry.

To turn away from my own direction,
And give this most popular way a try,
Sits unwell with my detection,
Of the right path to travel by.

Sure you say tomorrow,
Might be brighter by a day,
But it’s after that, I ask you,
Will we be the one’s to say.

And if our future’s better,
Then what we hoped for when,
This seemed like just another phsy op,
To be greeted and then dismissed again.

For now I seem to have lost the power,
To most logically decide,
What might become of me tomorrow,
And to all things after that, abide.
C
an’t say I won’t hope for a future,
Even one that appears so grim,
But not one that leaves, like so much dust,
As if it’s never been.

<

AS IF WE’D WON

Ya know, when were talking secrets,
There’s many we should know,
But isn’t it the fact that they’re not shared,
And now up to all of us to show.

The truth that though well hidden,
Isn’t something to trifle with,
Why not bring it into the light now,
Might we consider it a gift.

To give each and every one of us,
So we can feel as if we’d won,
In standing up to our greatest threat,
Even though the odds are a mere five hundred to one.

<

BE LOST

How to kill an humanity,
It’s the only one we’ve got,
Who might choose to do such a thing,
What makes one say, why not.

There’s got to be a feature, a way,
To identify this one plan,
Or is it just a tribe that abides,
By one singular, big ole sham.

Cause once you start to lying,
And your lies now cease to leave,
You’ve sold your soul for a dollar bill,
And with it, wish to deceive,

Not saying I am anything special,
But I’m at least not assaulting this fair land,
And if any might be around to stop you,
Something soon, that might be planned.

You know I’m just as suspect,
As I surely have my doubt’s,
How do you figure out this confluence,
And why is it just up to me,
To figure out.

But now you hit it squarely,
Right smack dab, down on the head.

All that we should say here,
Are things that are a must,
When you can put a face on a fellow struggler,
And if not fellows, both be lost

<

BE SO BOLD

I can’t help you with your red pill,
I can hardly stop from helping myself,
With all the lies and treachery,
All of it, top shelf.

It’s as if I was never included,
In this willful master plan,
What I’m likely to see,
Will soon affect me,
And to it’s process, I’ve been banned.

And that is what’s most doubtful,
About a future to behold,
It’s not one that I’ve been meant to share in,
Dare I say and be so bold.

Remember they’re still pushing for that jab,
To take away all your cares,
Cause through heaps of fright and collusion,
We’re to step up and take their dares.

How can you betray home and family,
When all you gotta do is take the shot,
Keep quiet and still for me,
Don’t give it another thought.

But I just might be thinking,
Why you’re pushing this now on me,
For the truth you sell is reeking,
Of a stench that shouldn’t be.

Take your cares for our future,
One that is often shown,
To someone who might believe you,
For me, I’m good at home.

<

Believe Me Or Some One Else’S Liar, You Pick

Young Dustin has his masters,
They never leave his side,
Maybe not always present,
But to them he still abides.

You ask, why has he left us,
I’d say he’s never been,
One to choose, any that, just might lose,
Only winners, so it seems.

But do you really bud,
Think you’ve won this time,
Just because you’ve taken on,
A craftier way to deceive us,
One that can’t be wrong.

But don’t ya see in doing so,
You’ve left yourself wide open,
For just your sake,
Or do you think there’s that many like you,
Every one of them a fake.

Are you just some one else’s liar,
One that I’d rather just let be,
Cause you’ve lied now about so many things,
Believe me, we all see.

<

BIG BLACK WIGGLY THING

I just went through my third pen tonight,
One of many I can’t now use,
Because their strength to supply me,
Is but now so faithfully been used.

By my most incessant need,
To shout out and loudly say,
What really really bugs me,
About our so separate beliefs, in today.

You take your masks and hardship,
As something that you must bare,
To make way for a better future,
To be but something, to be spared.

From a big black wiggly thing,
That never seems to be,
Much more than that which convinces you,
Of what everyone else should see.

But can’t you put away your wiggles,
And think once for yourself,
Had not these scares come taking hold,
Might we not now know more, for our health.

That the way to be part of anything,
Is not to turn our backs once more,
On what we’ve always had in each other,
And for that let’s all implore.

That this big mass mess were going through,
Can be mastered with but time,
And that our time though running out,
Is staying long enough to find.

That our future though again beginning,
At the behest of such an evil plight,
Might now take hold of each of us,
And now lead us all to fight…

<

BRAVERY

And bravery deserves a certain kindness,
Especially when it’s spent,
Maybe just a chance to catch ones breath,
And look back on how it went,

Not saying it has to go any way,
But to have your story told,
And won’t you keep on telling it,
Won’t you please, still try to be, so bold.

<

BURGLAR’S LAMENT

No matter how the choice goes
These often honest conversations,
I have, just with myself,
Seem forever growing wider,
In their scope and how they’re felt,

But to allow for this or forgive on that,
It always seems to be,
Not just another burglar’s lament,
Adopted now, by me.

Just saying… don’t dare take my future,
It’s not one I found,
Can be replaced, buy plastic, words,
And as is such, be bound.

<

BY WHAT RIGHT

Don’t you feel much like a prisoner,
Even in your guarded home,
Where once was left security,
Now gone, you’re left alone.

I look to queen and country,
To somehow help me solve,
This now commanding presence,
That before me, now revolves.

By what right, am I now told,
To shuffle to and fro,
From standing in that last place,
Then why moving on, must know.

There’s forever a new reason,
To keep me where I stand,
For it quite so seems you’ve noticed,
And for that, is what is planned.

I now ask that you give me back my reason,
So that I might make but some good sense,
Of all that might come challenge me,
And send it on now, once it’s spent.

<

CAMPING

When I listen softly I can hear the cold wind blow,
It rides along without me,
As I nestle down,
In my hole.

Why did I choose this camping trip,
It’s in its eighth day now,
When all I really wanted,
Was to get away somehow.

But now as here I flounder,
Can’t quite seem to get it right,
I say goodbye to the chores of the day,
And look forward to my soothing dreams at night.

When in the morning, I wake up,
To a brand-new dawn,
Can’t I just not waste my time away,
I’ll tell you after just one more yawn

No the business of survival,
Will keep me on my feet,
Now just one more day to suffer through,
As my last, I shall soon meet.

I always thought of myself as a woodsman,
But I think I’ll change my ways,
Maybe stay at home next time,
And be sure not to spoil my days

<

CAN BE FED

When you are way too worried about your past,
To learn anything about your future,
You’re not a fit one to lead,
All of us, by the scruff of our necks,
Ever on, till we succeed.

It’s just that if you’re looking for a saviour,
To fetch you up, on out the mud,
Ya better get ready to share the danger,
Because it’s for everything we love.

But life is full of hardships,
Not always ones that we run to,
You just have to slow it down,
And think a bit,
Is this what you want for you.

Cause when you’re in control,
Of your own destiny,
It’s then for when you feel,
If it’s a bit more than you can be fed,
And it’s time to make it real.

<

CAN’T FIND MINE

Do let me tell you of my answers,
Of their need in me to know,
Just how I came about their resolution,
As much as I can, I’ll try to show.

For isn’t life now, so much a mystery,
And how little of it, we can trust,
Won’t you just look back in history,
Of that, there is a must.

This is just one more time, to subdue mankind,
Mind you, the biggest there has ever been,
But can you fool all of the people, all of the time,
As that’s what’s to be seen.

I am just saying, I don’t know if we can depend on others,
To repair our fractured world,
We all must start with new ideas, that work,
Or up in a ball we might stay curled.

So go and look, maybe read a book,
There’s so much more to find,
When you stop letting entertainment,
Quite so enthrall your mind.

Look so much more deeply,
Than you might ever seem to care,
Because the answers are right there before your face,
Both hidden and forbidden, for it’s up to you, to share

For what do you do, when you find out,
And for whom are you meant to choose,
Should we not just worry about each other,
And just enough winning, so we don’t worry about the way we lose.

Because it’s as if I’m handing over,
The keys to the rest of my life,
You can’t take it for a test drive,
Cause it’s my only one, it’s my right.

But you know that’s what will be missing,
Of all these things to care,
It’s paramount, your rights and freedoms,
Are for you and not to spare.

It’s like, how much more do I have to give,
To make everyone else at home,
What do I do when I can’t find mine,
And then find myself alone.

<

A CHANCE TO SAY

We watch what’s going by us,
Finding truths that soon pass by,
Not something to hold onto,
Each one of them’s a lie.

To look a little closer now.
Are the answers too soon there,

Or do we really even care.

To speak your mind so boldly,
Like you had never meant to do,

<

COME UP WITH THING

I usually don’t come up with things,
Unless I’ve heard them once before,
Whatever comes from my imagination,
I have to think of so much more

<

COVIE PANTS

You say you don’t know, if or when we can,
Lift this tragic veil of crippling disbelief,
Off both our soon and distant futures,
For not just another breath of strained relief.

You don’t know if our truth or wisdom,
But teaches us to belong,
And when anymore than this is done,
Might it not suggest that we are wrong.

But dare I say my brother,
I won’t stay on top of any fence,
As any side I land on,
But to us, might make good sense.

As I dust my feet off,
And now travel on footing oh, so sure,
I can look ahead with promise,
And with all of us, so said poor.

Aha, did I not but say we’re sharing,
This divisive road a must,
Now what that might have us bearing,
Is something we must now, both trust.

And now with my words I leave you,
Might you find why we both should care,
For a world with only one view,
As it’s not one either you or I can share.

<

DIRECTION

And in time we must forgive ourselves for not honing the skills we knew we’d had
A misadventure, a misplaced step, our path it always wanes, from purpose, place and circumstance it’s direction’s always strained

<

EVER WONDERING JUST HOW TO FEEL

Wouldn’t it be the greatest,
If you could simply write it down,
What makes you tick when you’re in the thick,
To save someone else from being drowned.

But I guess it’s for each of us,
To come up with our own ideas,
To the problems we all now face,
And if you don’t see that,
You’re not keeping up to the race.

Maybe just a bunch of rats,
Turning round a wheel,
Never knowing which way to turn,
Ever wondering just how to feel.

For me it is, I’ll tell you,
In living out someone else’s plan,
Because if I’m just told where and how far to go,
I think that reeks and I’ll have to take the stand.

And does it ever show,
These masked wonders,
In full sight,
That above all,
Six months ago,
Would have given us such a fright.

For protection from a virus,
One that each year comes and goes,
Take out a few of us elderly,
That’s about how far it shows.

And like this year as any other,
It’s now happening once again,
And just because someone has told,
That if you don’t protect yourself,
That right there’s a sin.

But I think I’d do mankind a favour,
In stopping all the lies,
More so then keeping up,
With all the silly fears,
That the truth so soon belies.

<

FELLOW HUMAN BOUND

Why thank you for this letter of good standing,
From your lovely club,
It’s always a richer way forward,
When you include the ones you love.

And then we’ll all be off again,
To find another adventure we can place,
Into our road our path to the future,
One that involves the human race

But that’s a bit of a misnomer,
As long as it’s not a race to be human,
We should be able to understand,
For of those qualities that we must share,
Is it not to be, fellow human bound.

<

FIND YOUR HUNGER FIRST

Nothing matters when you are hungry,
But to satisfy your greed,
You wouldn’t let some one, likely tell you,
What they’ve decided you now need.

As hunger might be to knowledge,
And its urgency compared,
May the thirst for its attainment,
Be so widely shared.

As you find today’s tough questions,
About your future go unsolved,
Just because you’re standing back,
So duplicitly involved.

Go out and feed that hunger,
That gnaws away at your own core,
Do plug-in to a more open discourse,
Or stay all alone once more.

I hope you find your answers,
And when you’re looking know,
That you had to find your hunger first,
To but let your future grow.

<

FOR YOU

Anything you put in yourself,
Can kill you,
It’s just, when you put it in your blood,
You can’t take it back,
If you’ve made a mistake,
For you and the ones you love.

<

.GEECE*.CA

You say mine, you ask,
Where is ‘my line’ in the sand,
In between where I might dream to be,
And close to where I stand.

I know no greater margin,
Of justice there to be,
As of your choice to take it,
And with it, be set free.

For is it not, from me to you,
That I barter with my soul,
To take freely what is given me,
For all that I have tolled.

But I guess there’ll always be some takers,
And though there numbers have been few,
I now know their number’s growing,
How many more, I wish I knew.

Forgive me for all my worry,
I don’t mean to startle you where you stand,
But what to do when dreams fall down,
Can they be collected by just one man.

To those dreams I offer,
Not but scarce relief,
That there puzzle might go back together,
And with it, it’s belief.

<

GET PAST IT

I can’t believe the apathy,
We see it in us all,
What shame we fully close our eyes to,
Will be coming for real this fall.

Not sayin we’re meant to do much,
But to be aware of how it affects,
You and yours in all ways,
And once we get past it,
Sit back and think of brighter days.

But that’s not the way this works,
We’re in it for keeps, no matter how wrong,
We just follow more directions,
To what end and for how long.

Is this what we want for our lives,
And any others that we know,
Might we just take the moment,
To shout out, an ever more resounding, no.

<

GOOD DICTION

I used to sleep outdoors on the balcony,
When I first moved in,
I always liked to be in touch,
With the stars and planets,
Just to ask them, where they’ve been.

It seemed like it was such a big place,
I’m assured it always had,
That’s not what I had looked for,
Just my little place in it,
I knew I wasn’t alone,
I just look out before me,
And think of how little of this,
I have known.

Maybe it makes me humble,
Not knowing what I can reach,
And might I try sharing even this with you,
Maybe showing what I can teach.

Of course that is only what I’ve learned,
Not trying to fill you with something else,
No matter how you do yearn,
For that is only for yourself.

Because there’s no better time,
To sort fantasy from fiction,
Like we try to do right now,
Use a little bit of good diction,
To relate to one another, somehow.

<

GOOD DOCTOR

So I know it won’t be good for me,
I’ve had only one flu shot since I was a kid,
It made me the sickest I have ever been,
Something I was unsure of and kept hid.

But now since I’m expected,
To take a shot once more,
I decided to look for an alternative,
So I don’t get rush out the back door.

I went to the local pharmacy,
With these rules for fools in plain site,
I didn’t expect the answer I got,
When I asked for HCQ, I thought I might.

I was told that it would do me no good,
I’d have to get a doctor to prescribe me some,
You might think that that’s the answer,
But it turns out there’s only one.

So off I go to my good physician,
A man I’ve known for 20 years,
It turns out that he’s on the same page,
Living just behind an argument of fears.

And now I’m back to where I started,
Not knowing where I stand,
All I know, it’s up against big pharma,
God knows, to where I’ll land.

But I won’t give up hope,
As I won’t take the poke,
That plans to save us from ourselves,
Cause we’re not meant to know much better,
No matter how far, on our own we delve.

And that’s where independence,
Free thought, now shared,
And fully used,
Can make a difference,
So that at the hands of one more authority,
Can’t be so callously abused.

Maybe it’s just my stubborn way,
Of looking at things,
Knowing I’m searching for my own proof,
That the answer to my problem,
Lies in what I myself,
Can find as truth.

<

GO SWIM

Geez I miss my swimming,
It seemed to pull me back together,
Whenever I slipped and fell,
Maybe smash up, against the boards,
And with it just as well.

I’d pull back hard when tested,
By yell or by a clock,
Cause it’s hidden but a great big world,
Especially when you just can’t stop.

You might think that you’re a dolphin,
Or a whale might come to mind,
Of course there’s lots of free space,
For the smallest minnow to but find.

A home out in the water,
Where life would seem so grand,
If you now made this part of your space,
In and out, upon the sand.

<

HAVE NO SAY.

Of any less importance should I deem myself to be,
When I simply can’t find the reason,
At least not enough of one to see,

What drives you so incessantly,
To reach a so soon sought after goal,
One I think incredibly,
That is just now being told.

But what if just by chance,
This destination that you seek,
Is one that has been used before,
By others like you, oh so bleak.

To take away what’s not of theirs,
And leave nothing in return,
Do you not feel those consequences,
And away from them now turn.

Or is this your life,
One that is so unjust,
How can you afford to look away,
From a future we can trust.

If we don’t work together on tomorrow,
And leave it off for another day,
What’s to stop you from telling me,
I really have no say.

I won’t try to take what you have,
Nor expect you to have at mine,
Only that of which we both agree to,
Can stand the test of time.

Something I have so little of,
I really do must fret,
Because my forever and tomorrow’s,
Seem so sadly now to be, something to neglect.

<

HE KNEW

I couldn’t leave him down there,
Panting, crying, all alone,
He only wanted to be with me,
Help me save him from what’s not known.

He had the trust to ask enough,
If I could lend a hand,
To one fretful happy doggy,
Till the end, till he can’t stand.

Well my heart went out,
I could not stop from feeling,
I mean so much in someone’s life,
As much for me for him, sometimes even twice.

Off into some old fox hole,
Alone, just waiting there to die,
He knew when I looked up,
That I can’t just leave him there,
And with whatever will I do posses,
I wish to help here, now and anywhere.

So that’s how we’ve been buddies,
Together ever since,
We traded hope for neglect,
Never needed any hints.

<

IF NOT SUSPECT

How do I get much older, if not suspect,
Of these frailties soon to be,
And though I didn’t cause them,
They are things I will not see.

Or maybe I just don’t want to,
For my truth or reality, might be shown,
To any and all, who want to flog it’s wish,
To somehow, not be known.

But why now, speak of surrender,
When we still have lives to live,
Just dig deep inside,
And you’ll find, that strength, to give.

Share it round the best ya can,
And one’s claim to it, be true,
As it was all about, one’s kindness,
It never, ever was, about you.

<

JUST ME

Dave are you coming to rescue me,
You make me think of Trump,
But not in the way you want me to,
In a way in which I’m skunked.

Cause I don’t know if a lesser evil,
Is the solution that I seek,
For any and all more than nothing,
Is just the same and it is weak.

And that I know, I cannot be,
As my future’s now at hand,
With no hope to follow anyone,
And not that liar on the stand.

But even that’s a tough call,
Just to blame somebody new,
Never seems to get us anywhere,
Not me, how about you.

So that’s that then,
We’ll get together and not completely fall apart,
For a little from me and the same from you,
Can not but feed, a hungry heart.

Let’s stand up strong together,
Never reaching for much more,
Than a fair shot at our tomorrow’s,
And yes that needle, we’ll ignore.

You say you want 7 billion,
And me I am just one,
But I see now that I’m your problem,
Even though, how far we’ve come.

But I guess not quite together,
If I’m an object of your dreams,
I may have foolishly not known this,
Right over my head or so it seems.

But just because you feel you own me,
Do you not think that I can fight,
For it seems as if that comfort you provided,
When turned into handcuffs, I must be off in flight.

Off now until tomorrow,
When it catches up to me,
And I so sorely find an answer,
That with all that consoling, I didn’t see.

So come down from your throne up there,
Meet me, see all that you can see,
Cause it’s not just about those billions,
It was and is all about, just me.

<

JUST SAYING.

I’m tired of hearing stories,
That never steer the blame,
Towards the light,
And where it should be,
I wish I could tell you,
But it wouldn’t be the same.

For when I share those fears,
That we’re never supposed to come, close to,
It makes so much more sense,
That so few of us, quite contentedly,
Are sitting on the fence.

But it takes a mighty leap of faith,
To stop this once it’s done,
Just remember, it’s not just for you,
You’re not the only one.

<

KNOW THAT LOOKING

Ya know what makes us suffer,
Not having anything else to do,
That’s why this permanent vacation,
Doesn’t sit well with anything I can accrue.

I might not know that looking,
Can be so good for my soul,
It’s just a lil closer to where I want to be,
Of that, I’ll have you know.

<

KNOWLEDGEABLE PRONOUNCEMENTS

Seems like just another chess game,
One I was not invited to,
Keep our secret coming,
Try not to know, what to do.

Let it tear down truths,
We once held so dear,
And tell us where to go,
Not far up past this phsyop’s end,
Of which we all but know.

You can just keep betraying your own truth,
No matter what it is,
Because it just might come back and find you,
And answer your too soon belated quiz.

Will our truths be there to share tomorrow,
Or will we take them as we go,
To a better field of daydreams,
Just to say yes, I know.

And what do you know,
Is it yes, I’ll tell you what you want to,
Ask me, stay here and listen through,
All these crazy laws for lies you’re passing,
Or do we not see them too.

We can’t keep turning a blind eye,
Cause it never knows where it’s led,
For if you don’t clear things first, with your sight,
Maybe then, for sure we’re better off wed.

It’s just knowledgeable pronouncements,
Something I do not wish to hide,
For I feel all truths must be shared,
No matter what land, no matter how wide.

Start with just across the way,
Then tell it all and every day,
Don’t hold back on your own future,
Get involved in every way.

And I hope to see you at the end, more cheery,
Than I’ve ever, ever been,
But great reward takes lots of work,
As now, like you’ve never seen.

Do work along beside me,
I’ll take your word, you trust my faith,
To guide our way to each other’s destiny,
Might we hope it’s not too late.

If now we all stand up and be involved,
In our future like we should,
Just not think, to leave behind,
That thought, that we never ever could.

<

LAID BARE

If I had a wish to wish for you,
I’d not stop till I hear you say,
What makes me whole is knowing that,
You’re in my life to stay.

It’s late and I wish my state,
Was one that I could control,
Cause I only wish a certain someone,
Could be like me,
A part of my very soul.

It doesn’t seem to matter,
Sometimes I just don’t care,
When it’s time to throw caution to the wind,
And have my being laid so bare.

What new story can I tell you,
That you haven’t heard before,
Maybe make one up out of thin air,
And keep for you in store.

<

LETTERS

Ya know, I really do like letters,
I find them such a joy,
And the more I have to do with them,
As with their contents, do I toy.

Whether writing my best story,
Or reading one that’s seldom heard,
Their give n take astounds me,
As I try to hang on to every word.

Quite unlike a phone call,
Though both have got their touch,
As one is like to savour,
The other with excitement any all n such.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll tell you,
I look forward to them both,
I would not stop one from eating crackers,
Nor keep the other from my vote.

Now, neither come that often,
And as there want has not declined,
Might we all make a point to share,
So no one’s left behind.

<

MATURATION

Do you remember rot gut,
It’s that taste where you’d always be surprised,
Somebody’s father made it,
As long as you didn’t tell any lies.

We were teens trying to live our dreams,
On a limb and a prayer,
We didn’t know what we were doing,
But we were too brave and young to care.

You had to do some silly things,
To make yourself feel right,
Amongst your friends and enemies,
You didn’t wanna, give up the fight.

Cause the future was coming faster,
Then you would ever have had planned,
With this time for growing up,
Into what I now feel is a man.

But often life does hasten,
What we plan and will soon see,
It’s just so nice to be at peace,
When I feel that that’s just me.

<

MINDFUL DILEMMA

I watch you sometimes,
But you probably already know,
Taking what feels good to you,
And helping, see it grow.

Your meaning can’t be questioned,
Nor its obvious intent,
But can it’s reason, not be suspect,
By what is often meant.

To be a most supportive hand,
Clearly convincing you to go,
Down this most outrageous pathway,
And with its sour taste, you know.

<

MOM

Our mother used to keep us up,
Just to learn her golden rule,
If you’re not good at something,
They can call you such a fool.

So she sat me down,
And drilled me, as I’ve never understood,
I felt like her last chance, at some love,
Or at least I always would.

The lady had her aspirations,
And kept them to herself,
For she’d show you what you always knew,
But the hand that she was dealt.

She never ever told me,
About the stories I’ve come to know,
And how little that had to do,
With what she always, proudly showed.

A life that was never hungry,
For the life she never got,
But for her, it was to give to you,
The very best you sought.

Mum’s are great memories,
But I feel we sometimes lose,
What need we had and of us for them,
Was for each other, so to choose.

<

MOST DISAPPEARED

Yes and then there’s charlie manson,
That there’s proof of what you can do,
When you find someone talking out of turn,
And disappear them,
While still in front of you.

For there’s many ways to control the masses,
Just keep them thinking at all times,
That they’ve got some right to self-determination,
So as to hide more of your crimes.

For I’m sure it would most certainly blow the head off,
Of the too few that might just ask,
Where are we going and what for,
And why so very fast.

As the only way to answer that,
Is to look for in our past,
At what appears to be most hidden,
For not all secrets are meant to last.

Just remember there is no reward for looking,
You’ll have to find just what you seek,
Try to keep in mind that which is most disappeared,
And of that which you cannot speak

It’s a lonely road less traveled,
Than I might like it to be,
One that has few rewards,
Till it’s end, that I can see.

But while I travel on it,
It’s always so encouraging to find,
Those who also find it a necessity,
So that to their future,
They stay kind.

Cause that’s why we all struggle,
To find a way to say,
What makes it right is not this plight,
From our less than stellar yesterday.

So do join me while we change things,
And try to make them right,
Might you also put your foot in,
Just to keep up the good fight.

For when we take on tomorrow,
And all it’s uncertainty as it stands,
Might we together come up with a solution,
One that we all had a will to plan.

<

MUCH HARDER

It’s getting so much harder,
To make my way outside,
I go from sign to sign if not place to place,
Not feeling I’m allowed.

I’ll walk by with my face masked,
Stepping clear of those who might come close,
There seems to be this big scare between us,
Not one that I can see but host.

For don’t ever let your guard down,
Believe in that righteousness for us all,
But please don’t spare my deciding,
On my own way, one and all.

<

MUNCHING ON SOME GOODIES

I’ve been munching on some goodies,
Their enjoyment not reserved,
For any and all sensible thought,
To be, quite so interned.

Let your mind, stretch on out sideways.
Let it take off with just a leap,
But know which way you do go,
And it’s secret you’re to keep.

Especially if you like it,
Those thoughts so often shared,
In our worries about tomorrow,
A mighty plot we’re so insnared.

But don’t take it quite so frightfully,
Cause we’ve got to turn around,
This ship so hard to handle,
Is to our future, she is bound.

Do come along with old luggage,
And all with you, you can see,
Cause it won’t be much more than what we make it,
It’s only that, that might just be.

It’s getting to be quite scary,
If those enemies of the state,
Might not know how to play hardball against you,
And with your truth, they’ve sealed their fate.why not wake up

<

MY WORK BENCH

My work bench, my friend,
you don’t mind if I mark you up
and clumsily find my way
to a fix, a repair that I might use
to find a sense of worthiness
as I may, to justify my tinkering
and my whiling away the day.

<

NEXT TUESDAY AFTERNOON

I do want to be so thoughtful,
So as to not remind you of your cares,
It’s just nice to erase from life,
What we have such an unwillingness to bare.

I don’t plan to leave my troubles,
All that far behind,
It’s just for once,
For a bit of relief,
And pick them up again,
When I leave.

So thanks for your hospitality,
I hope to find it once again,
Might I place an order,
For next Tuesday afternoon,
I thought that, that,
Might just be nice.

<

NOT BE SUSPECT,

I watch you sometimes,
But you probably already know,
Taking what feels good to you,
And helping, see it grow.

Your meaning can’t be questioned,
Nor its obvious intent,
But can it’s reason, not be suspect,
By what is often meant.

To be a most supportive hand,
Clearly convincing you to go,
Down that most outrageous way,
And with its sour taste, you know.

I think we have to fear engagement,
Or it’s lack of, it be banned,
By something, for whatever’s purpose,
I do not understand.

May be just another song of structure,
As my underneath caves in,
I so often fear, it now taking me,
To a place I’ve never been.

I guess this ode to home might satisfy,
Those that have never been,
A part, a place, a touch of ground,
For that, it’s almost, too big a win.

I’m glad we’ve made you happy,
And our fortune’s not too late,
Is it not just one’s own suffering,
Or will it most assuredly, not wait.

For my soul’s always been my country,
And though I want to share,
In as much, and as easily, change abounds,
And in what might be found, now care.

<

NOTHING LIKE ONE DOING

He shoots, he scores, throws his hands up high,
It’s like they’re never coming down,
All just in front of our house,
The only game in town.

Kev would always be Espo,
No one else could take his place,
He’d stand in front and whack at you,
Or even threaten to change your face.

And Greg, a tenacious checker,
He’d always watch the play,
To see that it came within his wheelhouse,
And how long he could make it stay.

Tommy wouldn’t always get there,
He had other things in mind,
But we knew we couldn’t blame him,
It’s just something that you find.

Stevie was quick off the jump,
But would never chase the ball,
Of course if the shot took it down the hill,
To end up in the bushes, our spirits fell.

Back up to start again,
And at it, back we went,
Hoping our hero scores tonight,
With our interests on other things,
Somehow, all but spent.

Then down the wing came Donnie,
Never much at picking up a pass,
But when he scored he delighted us,
We’d think, we’d all kicked ass.

Back beside the goalpost,
Paul would hang his hat and roam,
I swear he held the record,
For goalie goals not known.

But he was good, to help keep the play,
Up and going on,
Because most the shots he knew he could stop,
And help save us and lost balls from going down.

I miss those days when I had such good friends,
When you never seem to miss,
On finding just more fun to do,
Because all you had to do, was wish.

And as we knew we found our sport,
With devotion we did play,
Because there’s nothing like one doing,
What we all just love,
Each and every day

<

NO LONGER BE

So please why don’t you tell me,
Of this plan to cure mankind,
Of its burden on the planet,
And of the few that’ll be left behind.

Because nobody’s really talking,
Of why this is happening here now,
This push to give the right to live,
To a precious few somehow.

But don’t ya see before you,
Is the world’s most devious plan,
To get you to agree, to end it all,
For you and your fellow man.

The only way this makes sense,
Is for you to but agree,
To roll up your sleeve,
And with that, no longer be.

<

NOTHING STAYS THE SAME

Ya know it’s good to talk to yourself often,
Not out loud, maybe just a laugh,
But what most sorts me out,
Is having my words to say,
Maybe speak out on my behalf.

And though it takes a while,
To sort as they fly by,
I find that writing helps me,
With the questions I might apply.

Too often, challenging citations,
To prove soon wrong, now once again,
I’m just waiting for you to stop lying,
And tell that biggest truth from which you fend.

Go ahead and tell us all now,
Did you think we didn’t know,
The worst place to go is with you,
It’s without you, we must go.

But how can we be soothed so well,
By a stranger,a talking head but just a face
When all we wish is to be told what to do,
To live with simple grace.

But that’s a life you once knew,
And believe me, everything has changed,
Get mad, get surprised, do get scared,
We all know nothing stays the same.

<

NOT JUST ANOTHER CAMMIE

Yeah, that’s the gent,
He’s really quite appeasing,
But makes a lot of sense,
If you might just stop to listen,
You’ll hear a committed voice.

One that says if I wish you no harm,
Then I can be who I will be,
And if you might wish harm to others,
Then it’s all for not just me to see.

<

NO REGRET

One strike you seem to dazzle me,
With your delightful way to scoot,
Around life’s foul transgressions,
Always asking, where’s the proof.

Two strikes are when I come up short,
And you’re still there now for me,
To write and croon and cry for,
Those moments I can’t quite clear, to see.

Three strikes we’re out,
The bills came in,
All this unfortunate mess that’s left,
Of the greatest bit of happiness,
I leave with no regret.

<

OF SO MUCH BUZZ

I’m just wondering how it would feel,
After long since having changed my mind,
To proudly walk around all day,
Masked up, no matter how unkind.

From simply opening up your world,
To the possibility that some where,
Someone just might die,
From any little flu bug,
Cause you can’t tell me that’s a lie.

And this silly fear, you try to instill,
Is another way to take,
Good sense, from good people,
Don’t be a loonie,
For goodness sake.

Cause there’s plenty of fear to go around,
But duhh, who an I talking to,
Just the generator of so much buzz,
As long as it goes away from you,

Cause that my friends are what ails us,
That right there is for sure,
Not concerned with another man’s happiness,
Of that, we must both endure.

<

ON THE FENCE

When you’re not tired and wanting to feel good,
I have some news for you,
I can hold on, for that long,
Before I dare sing my song,
One that, I’m quite sure,
Will make you blue.

It’s one that’s for the ages,
Because I never thought I’d see the best,
Of us all cut up,
To feed a hungry machine,
Where DNA’s a must.

And if that’s just another monster,
Might you find him, sometime’s new,
But believe me he’s the same old wreck,
Like the one, that you once knew.

Because these problems concerning monsters,
Seem to never leave,
It takes and where is he,
Is just something else for me to believe.

<

ONE TO TALK TO

What happens when you find those,
Who keep your world afloat,
No longer want to hear,
What keeps you looking forward to tomorrow,
Is it something more to fear.

But that is one that break’s us,
We tend to suffer when alone,
For I would have never wanted,
To be put on this planet,
If it was just to be on my own.

As we puzzle searching,
And why it seems so hard,
To find that one to talk to,
What in discretion seems to have been charged,

Cause that’s where we find our skinny,
Something we both must share,
But a common goal for our future,
Turns out someone else does care.

<

PHONE ERR LATER

When she wants to put the boots to you,
Maybe you should go,
If you’ve pissed her off that much,
Maybe it’s just time, for you to know.

<

PRIVY

#Just watched some odd micro installation,
Up on the tiny screen,
And what it’s going to do to us,
As unlikely as it seems.

Take away the oxygen,
Make up nothing but CO2,
And we won’t even notice it,
I’m okay, how about you.

This fate so cruel and directed,
At a people who’ve never known,
The threat of their own extinction,
What does it take, to be but shown.

This is a devious war we’re fighting,
One that never seems to send,
Any thought of such a tragedy,
To those most affected in the end.

Unless maybe we realize,
It’s all or nothing to but state,
We will not have this hastey end,
But to become our fate.

Don’t know how I can stop it,
Never thought I would have had,
An eye on such privy information,
But you know what would make me glad.

If you shared it with me,
For your good as well as mine,
So it’s not just me but all of us,
Looking to a future, we wish to find.

<

REGRET

If I just start with a question,
Not looking for answers just yet,
Can I live with myself,
In this shadow of doubt,
Or must I simply live with regret.

<

REGRETTING OUR SILENCE

Should I might just trying to warn you,
Of that little you’re proud to know today,
Will keep you from your future,
But is it just up to me to say.

For you’ll have to learn this soon I hope,
Because there’s not much time left,
Look what’s going on around the world,
And how close to us this crime has crept.

Quite soon you’ll have to recognize these dangers,
As they enter much more into our lives,
And if we haven’t learned to speak up now,
Pretty soon we’ll be hearing each other’s cries.

Not saying all hell’s come down upon us,
But quite soon,, I’m sure it will,
And if we’re just left regretting our silence,
Wondering why we haven’t said so, even still.

<

SAVE YOUR LIFE

Today, I find myself saying things,
In both desperation and in truth,
I can’t sometimes tell which is more important,
And I only wish I could see the proof.

But I guess it takes in knowing,
What you can spare to share,
Your time, your kind, your love for life,
Can it be only, that you care.

I watch how my world,
Seems to be leaving me,
And I want it back for sure,
Not just on your terms,
Of that I can’t endure.

And who am I to replace you with,
Maybe something not so grand,
Who wants to stand up me against a fence,
And find out which way I might land.

No, I want life as we can share it,
You for yours and I for mine,
Might there be anymore,
To expect from each other,
Then the way we treat our kind.

So might your family be of most importance,
When you find the world’s in strife,
Make it not so much what you should do,
But what would you do,
To save your life.

<

SHARE MY SECRET

I’ve been a dancing monkey,
Or something, like that, over the years,
Taking in the gospel truth,
Or so I thought, between my ears.

When lo and behold, I’ve come to question,
Is anything as it seems,
Caught up in some sense of understanding,
And what I can salvage from my dreams.

Don’t mean to all but shock you,
As much as I have been, myself,
Cause it’s a bitter pill to swallow,
As easily convinced, we’ve been,
To give up all our wealth.

And if you watch for closely,
Who’s doing this it seems,
The ones who have the most to gain,
In stealing all our dreams.

Look for those who have always had the power,
They make it their business, to but seek,
A way to get a leg up,
On any and all who might try to speak.

Of the many, many injustices,
They have laid upon all lands,
Yet they are the ones, that it is forbidden,
To get a handle on and really understand.

Cause that’s what it comes down to,
How much you even know,
About the one now pushing you,
Stopping, halting you, to grow.

Now, you may say I speak in riddles,
But I say it’s for you to grasp,
Just think of what can’t be spoken of,
And you’ve got a hope in hell at last.

bit of a sock knocker if you ask me

SHARE THE MOMENT

I love to fall into that cushion of familiarity,
Of things I know and trust,
It might not be much more,
Then having to wash my hockey socks,
There’s some things, that are a must.

It’s like when you’re walking down the sidewalk,
And you’re coming up to someone just like you,
It’s always a nice time to share the moment,
Even though it’s unlikely that you sometimes do.

<

SOME BIG CLUB

You know what often irks me,
When I see someone standing smug,
As if with their silly mask on,
They’re part of some big club.

I guess it’s how you think of it,
Cause membership has its price,
If you don’t pay now,
You’ll pay later,
Quite like you’re paying twice.

So even though it’s a paycheque,
Do you really want to go,
Down that road to a needle,
One you really just don’t know.

For don’t you think the reason,
Why all this is happening now,
To get you primed,
So you won’t mind,
What your being told, somehow.

So get your life in order,
Know who that you can trust,
It most matters who you agree with,
If you know your faith in a future, is a must

Don’t listen to the TV,
It’s not valid anymore,
Know it’s best to view in jest,
If it’s knowledge you implore.

Not saying it’s not going to be a bumpy ride
No telling what you’ll forsake,
I know without even getting there,
You’re very life’s at stake

<

SUMMER

The weather’s blowing in off the water,
I can feel it slowly change,
Not saying summer’s over,
Just not much of it remains.

And as might we think of life,
In almost the same way,
What must we keep in secret,
So as to live another day.

As those fears about our future,
Seem almost too difficult to ignore,
Without just another shot,
From that idiot box,
For which we so foolishly do implore.

But rest assured this wisdom,
Has got to come from someplace else,
If you’re to understand what you need to,
Just to keep you from yourself.

The only fool who can make the tool,
To use to pry within,
Life’s most hidden secrets,
I’ll leave you, to now begin.

I might not have a story,
That any or all can grasp,
But just like me in trying to,
That’s all that can be asked.

For when you know the worst that you’ve been through,
Is not something that will sway,
You from telling your story,
In all that you might say.

<

SUMMER, SO LONG

It’s September 2nd and the last of summer’s saying goodbye,
A sad time when you think of it,
I always wonder why,
But that is why the season’s,
Keep starting once again,
There’s always something more to look forward to,
Just around the bend.

<

SWING AGAIN

Might it seem, a loss at times,
When you can’t quite say what you mean,
And once again having to start over,
Just to keep you in your dreams.

For our answers come from our imagination,
As we like to piece together the reasons why,
We come to our conclusions,
Without giving it just another try.

But the world has always been like that,
You come to a certain state,
When all it takes is one more wish,
And another swing up over home plate.

<

TEST FOR ALL OUT BOREDOM

You can disappear today,
And may not soon be found,
It just takes a bit more than you can pay,
For your freedom to not be bound.

To a more wonderful tomorrow,
Without whim or even want,
While you test for all out boredom,
And with it’s sad result, do taunt.

What the hell was I thinking of,
When I came driving down this lane,
Of a bright progressive future,
And now finding just the same.

Good old crap and guided misdirection.
Of which I’ve simply had my fill,
Won’t you take it back because I’ve had enough,
Any more will make me ill.

As I do this for a reason,
I do it for my health,
I will not stand by while you just take more,
Of any or all our wealth.

Because that’s what really counts here,
In not knowing what we know,
We must hide it from ourselves as well,
Never having anyone to show.

So I say you don’t need that someone,
As long as you stay true,
To all that makes you feel grand,
Take a heapin, helpin, just for you.

<

TIE IT UP

And even though we don’t know much,
compared to those who do,
My want, my wish, my second-guess is often to me, quite shrewd,
Not saying much for happenstance but when one hits the mark,
It’s a pleasing feeling, To tie it all as one, from the very start.

<

TOO SOON

We are too soon to give ourselves credit for our triumphs,
And not fast enough to take umbrage for our mistakes.

<

TO STOP APPEASING

I took my electro smog meter,
Out the other day,
And I know it doesn’t sound like much,
But it gave me an idea of what I was living with,
At just how much poison I did touch.

I couldn’t really believe it,
The readings were so high,
I know I used to live here,
But it made me question why.

And then I went around the neighbourhood,
I started to look and see,
At all the potential hot spots,
That don’t seem much worried, about me.

Then I sat and wondered,
How it ever got this way,
We’ve put up the stuff,
For the sake of a buck,
And no one’s worried,
No one sees.

Yes, just another lie,
And another secret,
The two go hand in hand,
There’s no sense, they’ve got us beaten,
How can we wish to populate this land.

But I guess that’s the point,
To chase us out,
As if we never did live here,
And the best way you can do it,
Is with willful malice,
And some fear.

But I think it’s time to stop appeasing,
That of which we do not know,
Take it now upon ourselves,
To learn and then to show.

How much more your light will shine,
If you have just a simple glance,
Quickly, now behind you,
Give yourself just half a chance.

Not that this distrust can solve anything,
It’s just the opposite they say,
From a trust that you can live with,
Each and every day.

<

TO GET THERE FASTEST

And of what is known about you,
You might pick and choose to say,
Any and all that you might like,
But that’s not quite the way it’s played.

For once it’s left your wheel house,
This newfound knowledge is the key,
And what ever you do as a consequence,
Is but left bare for others and there want to see.

Yes I do see your reluctance,
In not having your own choice,
I think the whole idea is set up that way,
To take from you your said voice.

You might ask what I might know,
Maybe, just the reason why It’s here,
And the only answer that I can give,
Is a most tragic one I fear.

Simply put, it’s a race to get there fastest,
Whether you’re on your way or already there,
And if you don’t include your precious freedoms,
It seems you’re now driven to despair.

Yes, those freedoms so important,
The ones that might just help you choose,
As much and enough of anything,
Your willing most to lose.

It seems that offering our hands up in protest,
Is the only thing left to do,
And I’ll be damned if I do more harm than good,
Especially if I end up hurting you.

<

THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT,

There is no longer a battle of the sex’s,
From here on in it’s an all out war,
What makes you think we’d give a stink,
About ourselves to just explore.

Why we have traveled away from one another,
Down this oh so rocky path,
Who and what so willfully divides us,
So we and our future will not last.

There’s got to be a reason,
A willful push to have this done,
This has never ever happened,
Don’t think that you’re the only one.

But it’s important sometimes to stand back,
And look out at life’s design,
How it changes and why it does,
And of how much, we are resigned.

To going along with this change,
So detrimental and so strange,
There’s quite a bit behind it,
After never having had it explained,

But I can only guess at what its purpose is,
To topple the crowd on top,
Never knowing when it is too much,
Or even when to stop.

And now we’re held here waiting,
For that one and final straw,
Just don’t blink if you get stuck with the ink,
As a refusal is against the law.

This plan although not our own,
We have to realize where it comes from,
For only when you don’t have to guess again,
Will you have any chance to overcome.

I think that it’s not your choosing,
By its outcome you will know,
And if you’ve chosen unwisely,
That, to not just you alone, will show.

So you might not think this is leading to much,
As my offer at truth you may decline,
But just be sure you haven’t so demurred,
For the sake of all mankind.

<

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY.

Do we ever wish for someone to hear our truth,
or really should we
try another’s patience so we might prove what we mean to say
is valid, a must, a true thought for the day.

<

THEN GO ON.

When you hide behind a camera,
Without noticing who you are,
It’s not hard to find a reason,
Not to know when it’s too far.

Like, take this shiny silly rube,
For everything he’s worth,
Just to fill our pockets,
With everything but shirt.

As that shows an ill-gotten nature,
For which you must now bend,
Into any and all your features,
As your gifts, that you can send.

On to one another,
And any who will hear,
This clever birth of a new tomorrow,
Not something I should fear.

But there’s gotta be some reason,
Why I’m not asked to go along,
Cause we all know a fright gets better,
If we let it heal and then go on.

Like a soul that’s wounded,
And when asked to come around,
It’s got but not to say,
To be so held and bound.

Don’t let it seem to get to you,
Catch you, all in quite a sweat,
Oh, just still worried about tomorrow,
Somehow convinced it’s not a threat.

Pretty basic human worries,
Not knowing what to choose,
The path shortest to resistance,
Or a path I might just lose.

I guess the power of directing,
Must never leave one’s hand,
For if you join me, this side the lense,
I doubt life would look so grand

Cause that’s what I miss, is truthfulness,
Always looking back at me,
It’s hard to craft a willingness,
To just stand back and let it be.

But aren’t we all just actors,
In one another’s plan,
To mold our own best wishes,
In time, right out of sand.

<

THESE QUESTIONS

I’m getting better at the trails I lead,
For getting back here, is my greatest joy,
It’s the same thing in poetry,
The further afield I might go,
There’s no telling what it’s worth,
To get back here just to see.

How far I can go next time
Just on finding some relief,
To answering these questions,
One’s that might go,
Far beyond belief.

<

FELLOW HUMAN BOUND

Why thank you for this letter of good standing,
From your lovely club,
It’s always a richer way forward,
When you include the ones you love.

And then we’ll all be off again,
To find another adventure we can place,
Into our road our path to the future,
One that involves the human race

But that’s a bit of a misnomer,
As long as it’s not a race to be human,
We should be able to understand,
For of those qualities that we must share,
Is it not to be, fellow human bound.

<

THINK IT’S WISE,

Not saying I know what brightness we’re up against,
I just think it’s wise,
To review each passing big event,
And as if by passing, it’s full of lies.

<

THE BIGGER THE LIE,

It’s almost, the bigger the lie, the more determined are the self righteous to uphold it,
as if one’s ill found dogged determination has to be rewarded by something more real than the truth itself.

<

THE REAL WORLD

Don’t get me wrong, I like your company,
It’s just your drive to strive,
I find is fake,
How much more you need for your tomorrow,
When you put others wants at stake.

But I guess that’s now the real world,
Every man for whatever he can get,
No more thinking of a fair way,
Just cause it hasn’t happened yet.

So why not turn around,
And live in peace,
Or are we too late for that, now,
Might we give our lives another lease,
Both someone and somehow.

<

THE ANSWERS FOR YOURSELF

Are there no more bigger lies to swallow,
Than the one before us now,
Where we’re all scared into taking a jab,
To protect us all somehow.

But can we not surely find the danger,
In something so complete,
One that takes care of all our woes,
So we’re not left out in the street.

For that is where we will be,
If we don’t stop this before it starts,
Never knowing where you’ll be tomorrow,
And of this world you may depart.

So put your trust in something else,
Something not so planned,
Put it now in yourself,
Not this pseudo science,
You’ve not tried to understand.

But there’s a catch,
Where you must fetch,
The answers for yourself,
Don’t trust others, not even me,
Let your own knowledge,
Be your future wealth.

<

THEIR GREATEST TRICK

I think it’s sooner now than later,
That we’ll notice our world has somewhat changed,
There’s no more doing what we want to,
Everything seems meant to say the same.

If you just give a few books some attention,
Instead, of that way too easy feed,
Of the facts and answers that simply send us,
Right back to fill our greedy need,

But the information highway,
Is most certainly not the place,
To find answers to your questions,
Its meant to thrill, engage and enrage you,
So you won’t be falling, completely all apart,
Before you start the final race.

But fall we must, in order to just look up,
From our place of abject woe,
If you think this is gonna get any easier,
Its of that for which, we’ll all soon know.

So grab the short horns of the future,
And watch you don’t get pricked,
For the ones that now lead you there,
Are about to try to pull off their greatest trick.

And if it doesn’t work as well,
As had all been so long planned,
Might you cry to start once more,
With different players, now manned.

I don’t think that, that will work,
Cause this is all about keeping us as sheep,
But once we’ve seen who the wolf is,
Our silence we won’t keep.

As this is for all the marbles,
To go at this fateful dance,
Up against 500 to one,
And I’m pretty sure, you won’t get a second chance,

Hope I’m not just preaching to the choir,
For this is for all to understand,
When it comes to life and how we live it,
It’s up to us to take a stand.

<

WARM BLANKY

You know, in Canada,
We don’t have a history of denial,
We never grew too fast or many,
Never had to be put to trial.

I don’t say that, given how closely,
She’s always been to me,
Without a bit of tried and true,
And willingness to see.

Each others differences,
But we thought it would always be,
Not enough for some,
But more for the many,
Who would always say they see.

There’s lots that’s not quite right with numbers,
And how they seem to land,
The biggest and hungriest fish,
Back up on the sand.

People are taken in with their will,
Quiet, as some sheep,
To live along the status quo,
Their warm blanky they can keep.

A high regard for many,
Keeps you gladly in the loop,
What we take we pay for,
Even if it’s just some soup.

For pay indeed we will,
Without ever had the chance,
To make a stab at certain failure,
At even just a glance.

<

WASN’T MINE

I wonder when my time is up and while kicking n screaming as I go,
will I have any time to think of these little things
that have always let me know,
how wonderful it is to be alive
to have a future to possess
when all along it wasn’t mine
but only time’s true wish and behest.

<

WE CANNOT LOSE

The net used to be so much better,
I’d look and choose and see,
What I thought was now, my new truth,
And somehow, let that be.

For it’s not too much, to learn this,
We just have to pick and choose,
How much we can or can’t believe,
In a world we cannot lose.

So let’s join in for tomorrow,
It’s quite something that I need,
And as much as I’ll want to ask you,
For your trust in me, indeed.

I don’t mean to talk forgiveness,
Might it be something so much more,
That you can take with, when you go,
Off to this now, not so as an invisible, a war.

Ya know, they say as a writer, if you can’t write enough about what hurts you,
The other words are just a trickle coming but they’re now words that you can use.

<

WHAT YOU KNOW

Is it not just more then ego,
That keeps you from yourself,
Are you afraid to touch what hurts you,
And now always keep it on the shelf.

Somewhere, where you can see it,
But just slightly out of reach,
So you don’t have to deal with what you can’t feel,
And to yourself you cannot teach.

How to swallow your pride,
And find you’re not what you might show,
To both yourself and others,
No matter what you know.

And that’s where it’s difficult,
In admitting to oneself,
Sometime life hand’s out some tough questions,
After having being dealt.

A hand that is imperfect,
Maybe a little odd at times,
That is life at its most varied,
One that doesn’t always rhyme.

<

WHY NOT WAKE UP

When you hide behind a camera,
Without noticing who you are,
It’s not hard to find a reason,
Not to know when it’s too far.

Like, take this shiny silly rube,
For everything he’s worth,
Just to fill our pockets,
With everything but shirt.

As that shows an ill-gotten nature,
For which you must now bend,

<

WORDS

What is it with our words today,
They never seem to seek,
Much more than what keeps us happy,
And away from feeling weak.

Just thinking there’s got to be more to it,
Maybe find out what really makes things tick,
Instead of posting up another doggie pose,
Or just one more conspiracy flick.

And isn’t just the best way,
To solve the riddle from within,
Make a start from the beginning,
At a life story, even all the sins.

When we find out it’s time to share our souls,
And make ourselves come clean,
Of all our worries and our cares,
We’ll be the best, we’ve ever been.

And in our words are where we’ll find this,
Just something to be shared,
Due make it a point to do so,
If you might really think, you cared.

<

YOU CANNOT LOSE

Can’t say I know what’s coming,
But the blocks are all in place,
To tumble down a population,
To get rid of most of human race.

Please do forgive me, for feeling oh so dire,
With no such proof of our demise,
But if you just think about it,
You’d think the same, if you are wise.

Where might this so-called wisdom come,
Not out of any magic box,
If you just look in another direction,
One with less restrictions or any of the locks.

That hold you down and keep you asleep,
To what’s happening all around,
And unless you can snap the heck out of it,
They’ll be very little future to be found.

And when you ask your questions,
Do the answers stay the same,
An explanation you can’t seem to find,
That answers why this never questioned game.

Is one that always gives an answer,
One so weak as to be believed
Are you going to be the one in 99.7%,
Who feels you’re safe and then relieved.

Yes that’s right it’s just the good old flu,
Not reaching any more than what is told,
Cause it’s kind of hard to dig up bodies,
Especially ones, that can’t be sold.

Yeah they’re the odds were facing,
Same one’s for you as are for me,
And yet why are we, oh so ever worried,
Why are we so afraid of ourselves to be.

Because that’s the real question,
As having been put upon this earth,
Why now might I be asked to leave,
While so many others enjoy it’s mighty girth.

But I guess that it is once more,
How and what we are willing to share,
And who of you, won’t have to get the poke,
Of us all who might be spared.

For this isn’t just another scare,
One that’s brimming over in my cup,
Won’t you kindly look away from your comfort tube,
Just long enough to look it up.

Cause you can only find the lies if looking,
With your eyes wide open,
Don’t let them soon be shut,
With another inconclusive answer,
It might be time you’ve had enough.

Now is it foolish of me, to trust your wisdom,
To make a choice that you can use,
So as to take you in to a more informed tomorrow,
One that, when the odds are in your favour,
Is one you cannot lose
