I released this video and then received the below email from Susan, as a result.

Oh Brian - I just want to give you a big hug!
I understand how you feel & I love your raw honesty, emotional as it was.
I am not a Buddhist, I am a catholic. My church has been Trojan horsed since
WWII & is now about to go down big time. Life is a journey, is it not?
Everyday & every person we’re connected to seem to change constantly.
I struggle with the same issues- we all do. Cardinal Burke said the force we
are dealing with is “preternatural” I’d say it’s demonic!
Stay true to yourself & hang in there. You are doing a great job - spreading
truth! Keep up the good work! God will bless you in many ways!

Then, on Aug. 29, 2018 a woman sent me this email:

Brian,

Well, don’t give up Brian, you are a great asset to the truth movement. All the first responders take the hardest hits. In the future, you will be admired and seen as a hero to some and demonized by others.

Brian, you are definitely not alone considering the possibility of feeling rejected or alienated by Elders of your Sangha. I see this happening throughout all places of spiritual gatherings or religious practice.

Unfortunately, elders seem to suffer from the fear of being shamed or humiliated for holding different views so they tend not to agree with thoughts of lower members of sangha, congregation or parishioners. They protect their title or fame more highly rather than risking the rejection of going against the grain of ideas even if higher truths or unconventional ideas are presented.

The reality is, sometimes our expectations for guidance and wisdom from “elders” is just too high. They themselves probably can’t always handle the pressure of people turning to them to solve their internal conflicts or thoughts that are contrary to the norm.

When you feel this internal struggle and lack of guidance or alienation by Buddhist elders, this is the Buddhas themselves teaching you to rely on them and not the wisdom of man. Turn to them if you are a Buddhist. This is a great gift from the higher heavens – to be in deep contact with a spiritual Master in Heaven.

Let this be your practice.

  1. Nice read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch as I found it for him smile Thus let me rephrase that: Thank you for lunch!
